Good Lord, it's been an age and a day since I've been on here!
I'm sure most on here have absolutely no idea who I am, except the Admins perhaps. I was on here for a number of years from ages 13/14 to about 18/19, and commonly went by my acronym, BHR. I was going through some of my old stuff the other day and came across my collection of Cricket magazines so I thought I'd pop over to see what was happening here and say hello to the Admins.
A little life update:
I am now 23 years old. I'm married to my absolutely amazing husband and expecting expecting a bouncing baby girl who will undoubtedly be raised on my old Cricket magazines until she's old enough to get some of her own. I currently mostly fill the role of homemaker, but I do work part time at my dance studio as a children's teacher. I haven't given up on the writing passion that Cricket so helped inspire in me, and I am still pursuing it in a number of ways, from novel writing in my free time to blogging and photography. My husband works as an attorney, and I'm half tempted to put some of his crazy work stories into a book sometime! I'm also greatly active in my church, and while I've been saying this forever, I hope to finally go back to school for graphic and web design after the baby is born.
I'm glad to see that the CB is as busy as ever. I miss the days of discussing books and writing RPs on here. I also miss the large community I could always turn to on here, though I have maintained an outside friendship with a number of the older cbers too. A few of which I have even met in person, one even attended my wedding! But we all still talk regularly, and remenisce about our days on here.
Anyway, I'm glad to come on briefly, see how things have grown here, say hello. How are you doing, Admins? Is it still the same ones from at least a few years ago? You know, the older I get and the more adulting I do, I find I miss y'all more and more often. I actually miss having a wiser, older presence to moderate and filter my stupidity and offer helpful advice. Being an adult means being your own filter, and apparently, I'm not very good at that. I think I will forever miss that aspect! Anyway, my love and respect to everyone at Cricket, I hope y'all are doing well.
OH, BHR! How wonderful to hear from you! I'm the only current Admin who's been posting comments since your time with us. I remember you as a most refined and articulate participant. I'm doing well, and just earlier today was commenting to our newest Admin how I enjoy working on Chatterbox because there's something new every day! Never a dull moment. We did have a Chatterbox reunion on and around February 14, 2019. The reunion threads should be somewhere on CB. (Down to Earth?) Several alums returned to visit for a while. You may know some of them. I think the next reunion will be on February 14, 2023, but I might be wrong about the year. Maybe it's better to say every February 14. That's easier to remember. How exciting that you are starting a family of your own. You can start your baby girl on Babybug, our magazine for babies and toddlers. Best wishes to you all and please keep in touch when you can!

Nice to meet you, BHR! Wow, it's a little strange to think that someone could like be married and all grown up and everything and then come back to the CB to say hi. Idk if I'm the only one who feels like this, but like sometimes when you don't know someone irl, but you know them online, they never seem to change much. Again, this may be just me. Anyone lmk of you feel the same tho.

*Dying* I've read so many of your posts, it's ridiculous. I'm a huge fan of the older CBers, and it's amazing to think of how you and others built the CB... Wow. Okay. Ahaaaaaa. This is amazing. Thank you so much for coming back and saying hi.

Oh wow, this was just kind of crazy to read and just be thinking you used to be a CBer... hi! I'm Luna-Starr, more commonly known as Luna. I'm actually like half as old as you, which is just weird to think about. I know I've definitely heard your name mentioned by other CBers before! Just out of curiousity, what names are you thinking about for your daughter? (Sorry, I just think names in general are cool. XD) Anyways, awesome to meet you!!

Wow, hello! I don't think we've ever been on at the same time, but I definitely remember you from old threads. It's crazy to see people who were here and who have come back at an older age. Congratulations on your baby, that's amazing! It's really nice to meet you, I'm glad you could pop back in for a visit. I wish you the best in life!

*Revives* Aaaaaaaaaaaah BHR hiiiiiiiii! I used to go by Leafpool but I switched to Leafy a while ago. I remember you! I'm so happy to see you! Omigosh wow you just shocked me in like seven different ways. I can't believe you're married and are going to have a baby oh my gosh. Congratulations!!! I would tackle hug you but that probably wouldn't be a great idea if you're pregnant XD *hugs gingerly* Thanks for visiting us and updating us on your life <3

WOOOOOAAAAH THIS IS SO AWESOME!! I remember you from old threads! You were so awesome. Oh my cotton socks, I cannot believe you have a baby now??? and a CBer attended your wedding??? That is so awesome!!! Aaah! Thank you for coming back and checking in, it's so cool that you remembered about CB!

You have probably not heard of me, because I joined in July of 2019. But its amazing to see an old CBer who is an adult now. Its really amazing.
When your baby is born and gets older, tell her to join the CB!

This makes me feel so old. I mean, I'm not as old as you, but it looks like we started around the same time based on the ages you started and when I started! Wow. I'll have to message you soon!

I think it's so cool that you came back just for a little bit to say hi to us; it's so cool to see that your life is going very well for you. :)
