Whoa. So, um, I just went on the CB Classroom on NaNo and there are these two people, Salay and englishaj, who made like 75 posts on the random things thread and some of them are actually kind of inappropriate...does anybody know who they are? Or is anyone else a bit concerned? :P

I think we should have expected this earlier. They arent even CBers, or else they would be kind and respectful. Those kids are just being rude, vulgar and disruptive for no reason. Is there some way to block users? I hate to say it, but they shouldnt be on our classroom if they are writing inappropriate things.

They were probably troll bots. I'll see if I can do some research on it, I've dealt with people like that on a few other websites.
Even though they said they were not the same entity, they are. I'm almost certain of that.

It should be around on your homepage “My Classrooms” or something. And usually when you sign in it should ask you if you are in a classroom. Are you sure you are on the right NaNoWriMo website? There are multiple. I think ours is called ywp.NaNoWriMo or something.

I messaged a NaNo moderator about them... hopefully I'll get a response within the next few days and the problem will be solved. :)

So I've heard of NaNo and it sounds interesting but I'm not really sure what it is, could someone please explain, thanks
Briefly, it's a site for young writers to set a goal to write a novel of so many words in the month of November. I'm sure someone will explain more.

Like Admin said, the ywp site is for young writers to participate in the November NaNoWriMo, or in Camps during other times, but I don't know much about them, and during NaNo you set a personal word-count goal for the whole month of writing your novel, and update your word-count on the site. You can also chat with others if you're in a classroom. The new CB classroom's code is RGLCGPPK. Here, lets see if the Admins will let me put it here: ywp.nanowrimo.org
