Homeschoolers?
Hi everyone!
Is anyone here homeschooled? I'm asking because I am, and it would be cool if other people were too. If you are, what is your favorite part of being homeschooled? Least favorite part? Do you go to a Co-op? (I don't) How do you meet other people outside your house/co-op/school? What do you say when someone asks you what school you go too? What is your favorite subject?
I love that you have more time to pursue your interests. My least favorite part is that I love acting, and there isn't really a drama program at my house/school. I don't really meet other people very much, which is why I am totally loving CB! When people ask me where I go to school, I say, Actually, I'm homeschooled and then usually get a bunch of random questions about, like, do you get recess? (Yes! and probably more then you do!) I am enjoying learning Latin, because the course that I'm doing is very structured and it makes it easy to learn.

Hi! Welcome to the CB!!! :)

Most of us here on the CB are homeschooled believe it or not, or have been homeschooled at one time or another. 

I was homeschooled from 4th grade until now, but now I'm half homeschooled half public. I take 3 classes at the high school, and even though they are hard, it's fun to see both sides of the spectrum. 

My cousins think it's interesting and weird that my family homeschools because we have 9 kids total, so they call our house the "L–– Academy" (Admins, I think it's ok if we just do our last name, right? If not, then just delete that part out.)

Because I'm half public schooled, I meet people and make new friends there, but I also meet new people in my homeschool community, (because we have multiple homeschooling families who live around here.) And at my church I have a bunch of friends too. :)

You're learning Latin right now? That's so cool! I wanted to, but at the moment I don't have time, (plus I'm learning French right now, so it's either one or the other and I absoultely ADORE French! :)

I was homeschooled   half of my life , and i think its great . But i like public school too couse I can make lots of friends and see them every day . And anyways , I talk Inglish , Spanish and Frensh ...And im prod of it ! And , Hummingbird , learning L ating must be so cool! L earning Latin must be real difficult too, its always cool to learn a new language!

I am niether homeschooled nor public schooled, I go to a private school. I'm not sure if that counts as public schooled. But yea, if you want more imformation about just ask me!

Hi, 

I have been homeschooled since I was four and lay screaming on the floor because I wanted to learn to read. When I was eight, my family moved to Lithuania so now I also have to go to a Lithuanian school part-time (to help me learn the language), which I dont like as much. I love reading, music, and art. I am also trying to learn Latin, but its not going so well.
