Just reading through everybody else's favorite things makes me happy. More favorite things!

Snowboarding, anagrams, hot chocolate, milk chocolate, whipped cream, ice cream with chocolate or caramel or both, messenger bags, tall boots, hooded cloaks, watching Indiana Jones, movie popcorn, awesome set and costume designs in movies or plays, brand-new notebooks, mechanical pencils, sparkly dark green nail polish, standing on tree branches, word puzzles, music, the state park by the ocean that my homeschool group usually goes to in the spring, braids, ancient ruins, video games, bows + arrows, uncapitalized poetry, my friends, cats, golden retrievers, the colors gold and bronze, makeup, the lake, mist and fog.

I thought of more:

the way it smells in the morning after it's rained all night, large bodies of water that are completely calm without any disturbances, reading a book without stopping, sitting in the grass when it's a little chilly and the sun warming you up, the smell of hay, walking in a field that has grass come up above your waist, putting on clothes that just came out of the dryer, bagpipes, most European accents.

I'll be back. This is strangely calming.

Thunderstorms, blank paper, newly sharpened pencils, hiking boots, lying down in the grass, the smell of lilacs, new books, listening to music, camping, wind, clouds, blank notebooks, dandelions, and the smell of cut grass.    

Back with more:

Hummus, slices of fresh mozzarella cheese, chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, juice boxes, Triscuit crackers, basil, apples that are sweet not tart--what? I'm totally not craving food right now....

Cozy pajamas, peanut M&Ms, my wristwatch, that clean feeling after you brush your teeth, mozzarella cheese, Culver's, reading the inside covers of books and debating which one to read, marshmallows, when a new idea for a novel(la) sort of creeps into my head (usually while I'm pondering life/something someone said/ a random, semi-specific topic), herbal tea, Google Docs, looking at a poem I wrote and knowing that it's actually good, junk food, stawberries/things that are strawberry flavored, sunsets, boots, finding the perfect shade of blue in random places, listening to music, the mornings of really big, exciting events, inside jokes, watching Marvel movies, and winning arm wrestles. 

New clothes, old barns, fangirling, elves, Marvel, quoting song lyrics, quoting movies, quoting random things in general, big dogs, little dogs, all dogs, forests, soft jeans, long hair, braids, dancing, Graeters’ black raspberry ice cream, fancy hotels, sparkling water, succulents, aesthetic things, my phone, instax photos, tea, being slap-happy late at night. 

Chocolate, sunny mornings, cozy hoodies, libraries, a really good salad...

Hot weather, green plants, flower gardens, paintings of nature that perfectly capture the light, dramatic music, spicy food, going outside at night, listening to the frogs, chickens, getting up early on accident, being immersed in the things I write, any and all animals.

I made one of these when I first joined! Here are some of mine.

The ocean, sunny mornings, dandilion fluff, hot tea, chocolate chip cookies just out of the oven, my two cats, thunderstorms, sunrises and sunsets, listening to musical soundtracks, sushi, the sunroom, fireflies, and big books. 

I'll probably be back for more! 

Writing MULTIPLE PARAGRAPHS AT A TIME, good sleep, cheddar Sun Chips, when my dog looks extra cute, having friends over, going to our high school's football games, popcorn, root beer, catching fireflies, and the summer camp I go to.
