Choose your own adventure, zombie apocalypse version. Because I've somehow become ever so slightly obsessed with zombies.
You are in Alaska. It is summer. Suddenly, a zombie walks out from behind a tree and moans at you. Do you try to fight it, stop in your tracks, or run away?

Okay, you punch the zombie in the face. It doesn't seem particularly bothered by this, and in fact takes the opportunity to bite your arm. Congratulations, you have been infected. Would you like to try to get away and probably soon become a zombie yourself, or be eaten and try again?

Okay, so.
You run away. The zombie shuffles slowly after you, but you easily outpace it, despite your injury. Soon enough, it's out of sight, and not too long after that, the world around you begins to tip and cloud.
When you wake up, you feel different. Hungry. But there's no food around. Do you wait for it to come to you, or seek it out yourself?

Okay, you wander around for a while and eventually come upon a town. As you approach, you notice a swarm of other zombies descending on a particular street together. Do you go towards them, or stay on your own?

You make your way towards the herd and shuffle along with them. You notice that a group of them seem to be congregating around one building in particular. Do you go towards them, or continue on somewhere else?

Realistically, scream, run away, and possibly pinch myself to be sure this isn't a dream. Once I'm safely away, of course.
So, of your options, I'd have to go with run away.

I go somewhere else. Somewhere familiar, somewhere with a good amount of apocalypse-quality supplies, somewhere where I have a chance. Maybe a medicinal lab at an army base? That would take care of the supplies, and I can get to work on an antidote. Any zombie gets in, I can shoot them in the face. (3

Are you familiar with a medicinal lab at an army base? Because I'll let you do that, but only if you can make a reasonable case to me for why you would know that a place like that exists anywhere near you, why you would be able to get there, and why they would let in a kid who said they saw a zombie and allow said kid access to both a lab and weapons. And I guess also why you would know how to use a lab and weapons, for that matter. If you can't, you can still go home, out into the wilds, or another different place. Unless you get attacked by more zombies.
