Would A Mimikyu be a CAPTCHA, CAPTCHAE, or AE?

As a hardcore Pokemon fan, I'd personally say that a Mimikyu would probably be a CAPTCHA. Since Mimikyus can't speak in our language, it would probably fit best as a CAPTCHA...or a scarily silent AE. Ooh, that would actually be pretty cool!
It depends on if this Mimikyu would share any personality traits with you. AEs are often created to show a side of their creator that's usually silent or not shown--ex. Dawn, my AE, who has several personality traits I don't usually show on the CB, so I'm not sure if that Mimikyu would be a fitting AE or not. (And no, AEs aren't strictly humanoid! They can come in whatever shape you want them to.)

I wouldn't call Pikachu the most popular Pokémon. Yes, it is the Pokémon mascot and has more merchandise than any other Pokémon, and is presented to the viewers in a way that sets it apart from any other Pokémon, but it isn't the most popular.
Those who are active in the Pokémon community (I sound so elitist right now, please don't read this in an aloof voice--oh crud) usually don't have too high of an opinion of Pikachu, even after playing LGPE. Competitive battlers--also known as INSANE in my book, how do they do the things they do!?--definitely don't hold Pikachu in the highest opinion ever.
Children who watch the show on their own, without participation in the community, usually develop a good opinion of Pikachu as cute but find other favorite Pokémon. Some even call Pikachu overrated. Usually those who are really casual with Pokémon (I love these types) probably do have Pikachu as their favorite.
I would say the most popular Pokémon is probably either Rowlet, Greninja, or Charizard. Rowlet being a great meme, adorable, and just plain cool. Greninja being set apart from any other Pokémon with its Ash-Greninja form, AND being one of the starters. And Charizard being...well...Charizard.
...Did I just type this out because I was looking for any excuse I got to rant about Greninja? Yes. Yes, I did. Did poor Rogue have to read this? Hopefully not. I'MSORRYIJUSTWANTEDTORANTABOUTTHIS

I warn you, I have barely any contact with Pokémon, but I think:
Bulbasaur is best.
Evie is next best.
Pichu (how do you spell it) is third best
Pikachu is fourth best.
Treeco is derpy.
And Jynx is terrifying.
That is nearly the entirety of my opinion on all Pokémon and Pokémon realted things. THAT WHICH YOU SEE ABOVE.
