Hey everybody! It has been so long since I've been on here and I'd mostly forgotten about this reunion until I got a reminder on my phone from ages ago when it was planned. Immediately I was ecstatic because this website was so important to me back when I first joined in early 2014. Looking today and seeing so many familiar names is making me very nostalgic for the days when I would come home and eagerly check the chatterbox for new stories and such.
You may not all remember me because I did more onlooking than actually posting but I remember having some really fun conversations with the rest of the group at times. Also, there was another girl named Katie that I would see around back then but she went by Katie M. so in case you're wondering we are different people. I don't know if she still comes on here regularly but I remember she was super nice so Katie M. if you're reading this hello from your name twin!
Anyways, I'm glad to be back here even though I'll probably be too busy to stick around - that's the main reason I disappeared in the first place. It's good to see you all though and please keep me posted on what you've all been up to! Feel free to turn this thread into a place for all returning and new CBers to catch up!! And happy Valentine's Day 2019 everyone!

Hey, Katie! I don't think I have met you before, and if I have it must have been just as I was joining. My name is Silverwaxwing (please call me Silver!) I joined the CB between two and three years ago. Over that time I have met so many wonderful and creative people, and I look forward to spending time with some of them during the reunion!
Anyway, welcome back! It's so wonderful to see old (and some new, to me anyway!) people here again! I love hearing about the old CBers and seeing everyone come together again. I hope you can be here some for the festivities tonight and continuing through this week! I would love to get to know you!

Yes! I woke up today to two simultaneous alarms--the regular one on my iHome, and then one that I had set years ago, I think, on my iPod for 7:00 this morning. It was sorta crazy.
I don't think I've met you--I thought you were Katydid at first but I guess not? Anyway, nice to meet you! Welcome back and happy Valentine's Day.
