I can't believe it's been five years since the CB came up with this reunion. That's amazing. I've been slowly watching today get closer for months now. It is awesome seeing all my old and not-so-old friends again! Not to mention some new faces.
It has been a long while since I've been here. I kind of migrated from the CB to chat services like Discord as well as PS4 and letters. Still, this place is more than home.
For those of you who don't know me, I'm Ashlee! Fellow oldie (perhaps the oldest person on here today?) Who joined nearly 8? years ago. I've been off and on since then, usually only active during spring/summer. I'm a homeschooled senior with four little siblings and two longhaired orange tabbies. I love art, reading, writing, webtoons, photography, nature, and video games. Weird mix. Anywho, I'm your fellow Whovian and LOTR fan (still on the last book so shhh). I also love Property Brothers, The Voice (Netherlands is amazing), America's Got Talent, and things like that. And if you ever want to obsess over Webtoons comics with me, please do! I currently read over 80 I think.
How have things been? Any new hobbies or adventures you guys have taken up? I'll probably be on for the whole reunion week, so I'd love to chat!
P.S ~ I still have Zeon and Quill, who will forever be madly in love with their crushes. I wonder if Arwen is still here? Or CL's MewFour?

Dancing sounds really nice! What kind of dance do you do? I've always had a lot of respect for it as an art, but I am awfully clumsy and not graceful.

Ashleeeeee!!! *tackle hugs* You're BACK!!! YAY! Wait, you're into LoTR? How did I not know this?! I love LoTR! Have you watched the movies or read the books (or both)? Do you have a favorite character or part of the books/movies? I personally will forever and always love Aragorn, Gandalf and OF COURSE Frodo with all my heart and soul. If you don't want a rant don't ask me about the movie version of Sam though...
Anyway, WELCOME BACK!!!! :) I remember when I first met you you were my age (or perhaps younger?)! It's crazy to think about how time flies...

Silveeeerrrr!! Hello again! *tackle hugs* My LoTR obsession is from this summer. I finished the first two books, and got maybe half way through the second before I got distracted by 50 billion more book suggestions. I still need to finish it. I've also seen the first two movies! I'm watching the third one today or tomorrow with my little bro.
FAVORITE PERSON IS LEGOLAS. HE IS. AMAZING. NO QUESTION ABOUT IT.
Sorry, I just had to fangirl a bit. Legolas is just too good. I love his friendship with Gimli too, and their friendly competitive nature. Second is Aragorn. Third is probably Gandalf? Pippin and Merry? Treebeard? Tom Bombadil? (I was furious to see he wasn't in the first movie) Perhaps Gimli or Sam? I love them all equally. I have to say, you have some good favorites! I like Frodo, but part of me has this thing against main characters of any book or movie. I just don't know what it is about them. Wait, Sam from the movies? *So tempted to ask*

Right, right, I'm such an old soul from the 1800s. Partly. Don't worry about it, I haven't sent anything yet. Nor will I if you don't want me to. I'll just... speak to you telepathically! Yes that will be perfect.
YES YOU DO SO COME FIND ME. I decided to hold of on getting a phone until April or June when I go to work harvest and go WWOOFing. Wait, have I even told you about that yet?? Welp we have a ton to talk about. I'll let you know when I get my phone. If I'm not back on AWM by then, I'll write Ella who can then give you my number. And anyone else who wants it. It hasn't been months pfft. Maybe just 2? Anyways, I'll be on here for a week or two, so we can talk.
I'm doing good - actually great for the most part. Just a bit stressed with school. Also family. My grandma got diagnosed with cancer and only 7% chance of living so there's that to worry about. And graduation. And keeping motivated. And money. And stuff. You get the idea. I don't think there's much you can help with. How about you? Anything new?
(AHHH I must see. Did you draw Connor by chance? I've actually been thinking about rereading the books. *glares at Claaws' therapist*)

ha...welp. yea a lots of stuff has been happening. I got in a fight with Vi and she's sorta not really talking with me. Or anyone else. Which sucks. And is probably all my fault haha oops. Uh...I went to a mental hospital. And got arrested. At school. Which was fun. You know, the usual.
Oh! I got my phone taken away so I can't show you the pic at this moment. (I'm failing out of school! ...again... Yay!) And i should probably submit this now before i start rambling about pointless things. *submits*

Magic!!! Talking through the other letters can work well too. I've been meaning to write Ella, so I'll write something for you in that.
I MIGHT COME FIND YOU FIRST. WHEN I ALSO GET A PLANE/CAR. Which will be a long while. (No license? Are you banned from getting one for X amount of years, or is it permanent?) SORRY. I think I decided that after I vanished from AWM. Long story short, I'm going in Juneish (depends on school, money, and my grandma) to an organic farm in either western WA or western OR for two weeks. It's basically a volunteer opportunity where they in turn give you food and a room. I can explain it more in my letter to you/Ella.
Oh. April and June are far apart. FINE. Then I'll say sometime between April and June. The later the better for money.
It's okay, I have faith that she will put on her best fight through it. Maybe even live, who knows? So the thing is, I want to spend more time but she lives on the other side of the state and I'm car-less. We're going over there next weekend as long as the roads are good. Chances of me seeing her after that is pretty slim, but my mom will be over a lot.
I WILL SYAY (rip, stay) MOTIVATED. ISH. FULLY? FULLY. ooo cookie. Thank you friend. I can't believe it either. I'm half terrified (okay 3/4 terrified) but st least I'll be living at home during college. It's less of a massive shove into adulthood. I must be your motivational cheerleader too. *Doesn't know how to cheer so copies long lost cousin* Yay go Claaws! Finish school! Work hard! Eat cookiesss!! Whew, cheering is hard work.
Aww I'm sorry. I hope Vi comes around. I'm sure she will, and I doubt that's all your fault. Things happen. Going to the hospital, is that good or bad? (I realize a lot of our conversations probably aren't allowed on the CB so I'll find another way to talk to you later. Aka Ella's letter) I feel like it could be a good thing. As for being arrested, that sucks. I'm just glad you're okay.

They put me on a sketchy medication (yay drugs) that's not working and I'm not allowed to drive with it. Also my parents r the best and won't give me the hours i need to drive. Which is fun. Oh, and I'm not allowed a lot of things (like shoelaces gosh) and I can't leave campus during school! Which sucks. And everyone's probably judging me and my poor choices but that's fine. being arrested was not fun. Uggg sorry this has turned into a ran.
Anyways. Yesh this is getting very narrow. hehe. lets see how long we can go!

Gosh that was a lot of ranting about myself. I hope your grandma does pull through, Ash, and Im sorry you cant see her more. Will she move in with you so your mom can take care of her while shes sick? Or does she live with ur grandpa. Or a nursing home.

Ugh that's annoying. Well I hope you get some sort of benefit out of it eventually. As in the meds start working. No shoelaces, no car, no nada. Hey, at least you'll be 18 fairly soon. Then you should get some more legal say over things like that. Just keep on waiting. As for poor choices, everyone has them. Just stay strong <3
More narrow it is! I remember some old threads that got extremely narrow. Not sure if that can be maxed out or not. Guess we'll find out
As for Discord, I'm thinking around Juneish. Although I leave for the farm in June after graduation and then have a month of harvest in probably July, which will be like 10 hour days. So chances are I won't have time until August. That's if I don't go work at a summer camp or the school. Ahhhhh
Yeah, long story short it is mostly school related. I got in some trouble due to my lack of motivation and was grounded from all devices, offline and online (besides school of course). That was for a month or more. Now I'm just staying off for my own sake. With graduation so close and my schedule so tight I can't afford screwing up again. I miss you all though!
Yay weird moods! I have those a lot too. Coloring and thinking, sounds nice. You should have Monday off since it's president's day or something like that. I'm glad pom is done with! Dance sounds nice. Sorry this is short, my fingers hate this evil screen
Thanks, I hope so too. She's staying with her husband and is still going to work and everything. No idea how she is managing it. No nursing home though, she's really young. Early fifties I think?
Yeah, I'm glad you'll be out of your house soon. I worry about your brother though. He isn't perfect, but he is being shaped by your parents. I just hope you can help keep him on the right track.

(ha Ash's tablet) I'm proud of you for doing your school tho and focusing!! That takes a lot of self control and I'm proud. It's sorta weird talking on the CB and I probably shouldn't be talking so freely about my lovley problems. :P Yea I have school off tomorrow, which is fun. I got my phone turned off which sucks cause I never get to see any of my friends and they have break this week and we were supposed to do stuff. But anyways! Are you taking care of yourself, Ash? Don't get too stressed with graduating. Make sure you do some fun things too! Are you still writing and drawing and stuff? I miss you! <3

BURRYYY! I have been everywhere my friend. Aka my room hiding from the snow. I've missed you too! <33 Sorry I disappeared so quickly from AWM, I had to quit wifi things due to internet restrictions and personal reasons. As for CB, I think I unofficially left a long while back. I'm sure you'll see me on AWM in a few months!

Hey, I got a letter from you! You'll probably get my reply in... ten days? Assuming you sent the letter the day after you wrote it on the second. I got it on the fifteenth and mine was mailed on the sixteenth. Anyway, it was wonderful hearing from you and I loved all the things you put in. The postcard is now decorating my wall so I can look at it!
