The day is here! I can't believe that years ago me and others CBers put this together and now it's already 2019 like whaaat?? wild!!
I guess I'll start off by introducing myself :D
I'm Cayke, I've been on the CB since 2014 and though I'm not active anymore I never officially left :)
My username is based off of an Oz book (I've long since forgotten which one!) in which there was a character named Cayke The Cookie Cook, and since I love baking and I thought the name was cute I stole it haha (my captcha is named Cookie)
I was 11 when I joined the CB and now I'm turning 16, I'm a sophomore in high school but I'm actually planning on graduating early (next year!) and I'm doing college at the same time as high school so (this gets complicated) by next year if everything goes well I should be done with high school AND my associate's degree! Which is pretty cool :D
I joined the CB at a time in my life when I had no friends and was socially awkward and inept. I was very lonely, and finding this place was the best thing that ever happened to me! I'm so so so grateful that I got to be a part of this wonderful place, because of all it's done for me. Interacting with all of you grew my confidence and I'm not awkward anymore (haha) and I can actually talk to other human beings without being scared for my life now! The CB gave me a place to vent, a place to creatively express myself, a place to talk to other people my age without being judged, a place to give and recieve unbiased advice, and so much more that I can't even begin to explain.
It's been an amazing experience and I'm so glad to be back, even if it's just for today.
Thank you so much to every one of the beautiful souls I met and befriended on here, and thank you so much to the Admins for not only making this place possible but for everything they do to keep it running, and for dealing with all the messes we've made over the years! You guys are amazing, if I could hug all of you I would :'D <3

Hi Cayke!!! I've missed you! So glad to hear from you again. :) You were the very first person who I interacted with on the CB! You made my welcome thread and I'm so grateful. Also, you're just an amazing person! :)
P.S. Firefox says emzo. Not sure what that's supposed to mean, but applause for the use of not one, but two vowels.

Cayke!! It has been at least a year since we've last talked. How has life been? The fact that you are almost done with high school and college is amazing! What are you getting your associates in? If I had made up my mind on a degree sooner, I might have been done a year or two ago xD I think the last time I saw you, you were traveling or on a road trip. Are you still doing that? Or am I mixing up people again? Anyways, I'm so glad to see you!

Cayke! Ah!! This is crazy! It's been forever! You and I are doing the exact same thing for school, which is a bit creepy. I'm going to get my assossiate's and graduate a year early as well.
