Hello! It's me, Danie, nerd extraordinaire, coming back so I can participate in all these 2019 reunion shenanigans.
I already have seen a very many couple of familiar faces - as well as new faces - and I'm so excited to talk with you all again and meet whoever I haven't met yet.
I honestly cannot keep track of when I last posted on here. I was a bit of drama queen - still am! - and I recall disappearing and reappearing quite often. Either way, I might see if I want to get into any of the RPs back on Inkwell.
Cheers to you all! (P.S., if any of y'all play D&D, let me know! I've been obsessing over the game for the past year, and it would be cool to find some other fans!)

My friends and I have recently started to play DnD! We're, ah, not very good at it yet, but we're getting there. We recently played our first adventure, and it was really fun! Any advice for us young'uns in the game?
Hey, I'm in my sophomore year as well! What are your favorite/least favorite classes? I'm really enjoying biology and language arts/composition so far.

Danie!!! Yay!!! It’s so good to see you!! You probably remember me as a crazy 12 year old with an obsession with ice cream and dragons and turtles. I’m in high school now! And I’m slightly less crazy but it definitely hasn’t gone away. Anyway, it’s great to see you!!!

Anyway, I’m Viola?, and I play D&D, too! As much as I can, at least. It’s just my brother, my dad and I at the moment, and we’re pretty bad at getting sessions together. Still, it’s pretty fun.

I just opened up DtE and this made me stop, almost gasp, and put my hand on my chest because I was so overwhelmed... in joy/hopes of not starting to cry.

Oh my gosh, helloo everyone!!! I do remember most of you (I've certainly seen all your names before) but it's nice to talk with some of y'all who I haven't talked with!
@Micearenice Yay, more D&D players!! My advice is to not care too much about the rules yet, you'll figure them out over time. figuring out specifics can sometimes bog down the session, so if necessary look it up online after it's over. Honestly, the number 1 rule in D&D is to have fun.
My favorite classes? Probably World History, even though it's my AP class. History is super fun, and it's fascinating to figure out why our world is the way it is right now. My least favorite? Hm, probably Chemistry. I'm preeeetty bad at it, always preferred Biology over it, but since it's a required class I sorta have to take it.
@Viola Haha, I said I had green hair? While green hair would be super cool, I've never gotten the chance to actually get it dyed. I'm glad you're having fun playing D&D with your family! I tried to get my family into it once (We did play one session!) since we all play board games, but I don't think they liked it, haha.
@Maplesyrup Yesss I feel the same as well! I just can't stop playing it, I'm practically obsessing over the friggin game! I'm seriously surprised, I have such a low attention span but this has been keeping me occupied for forever!! I wonder if we could try to run a D&D thing on cricket. Hm.
@Leafmist Hellooo!! I do remember you, it's nice to see you again! Okay, starting is D&D is pretty hard, and there aren't a lot of tutorials. I'm going to school in a bit, but afterwards I'll try to grab some resources. Honestly, probably the best thing is to grab the player's book and just start reading. You won't remember it all, and it'll be overwhelming, but it'll give you a sense of what D&D is about.

Running a cb d&d group would be a blast imo. Are you planning on staying around after the meetup? Maybe we could work on possibly organizing something. I’ve been looking for a chance to join another group on the side... maybe this could be the chance ;)
