Well, I think the best thing to do is just be friendly. Be yourself and don't try to change that for anyone (sorry if I'm sounding like a parent or something ;D ). Acting friendly and nice will make you more approachable. It's a good way to make friends, too. :)

The best way I've found is instead of trying to look really pretty or something, act more like a boy. You might not like that idea, though, so sorry...

Actually, that's true.  Jimmy (my friend, NOT bf!) is one of the best baseball players in his school, so we first met each other at our youth group during a game of wiffle ball. :) And now we're good friends.

Actually, I think that would work. Lately to get his attention, I've kinda been playing up my boyish side. But then, somehow I always do something pretty girly. I don't know why, cause I'm usually not too girly.
