Accents!

I think we all can concede that if someone from a different, English-speaking country listened to us talk, they'd think we had an accent. But what if somebody from a different state did? Do you have any little speaking quirks that you picked up because of the region you're in?

For example, I was inspired to make this because Rogue said she often drops the t in Latin. When I tried it, I realized I pronounce "Latin" more like "Ladin." I also pronounce my "as" with a sort of exaggerated "ayyy" sometimes (not as in the word with the finger guns). My brother has a thicker accent than I do, though - if you get him to say "sauce" when he's not thinking about it, he'll say it "sawce."

I feel like I have the most boring accent EVER. I wish I had that Southern twang (I think it sounds cute XD). All I have is that New Yorker accent. You know what I'm talking about. Urgh so boring XD.

I actually really like Australian accents!

There’s this one accent I can’t do but really love listening to. I forget where it’s from—I think somewherr around New York, though not Brooklyn. All the r’s get dropped or turned into u’s, and the o’s all sound like long a’s. It’s really great.

I actually can’t do any accents at all. I’m also terrible at identifying them. I guess I’m not listening or something? Anyway, I’m pretty sure I sound like a regular American. I do tend to blunt or slur things sometimes. Nothing specific comes to mind.
