Chatterbox: Down to Earth
Just to let
Just to let you know, I'm not going to be on
much tomorrow. We're going to the state fair,
(which I haven't been to in forever) so we're
going to be gone most of the day. It should
be interesting. I only vaguely remember going
to a fair when I was about five or six-ish, but
I don't even remember which fair it was. LOL. XD
I guess you could count this as one of my
mini vacations (sorta...). Haha, anyway, see
you (very) soon! :D

I love going to the state fair! We go every other year. The Iowa one starts August 17. I can't wait! Tell us what you did when you come back!

Front, so everyone else knows where Megan has gone! :D

Cool; have a great time!

Aw, I've never been to the state fair here... just our county one, which is fun, but still, I want to see both!!
And the sad thing is, I might not even go this year to ours, because my cousin promised to take me, and forgot. (Or, her excuse is "I didn't hear from you, so I assumed you had changed your mind" which is nonsense, because she said she'd call me, and she never did. She's done that before, and it really bugs me. And, my parents are busy, so I don't think they'll take me... *deep sigh* oh well. I'll get over it.)
*shakes self*
Anyway!! Have lots of fun!!!!!!!! :)

I'm baa-aack! :D We had alot of fun! My favorite
part was looking at all of the animals.
Unfortunately, they didn't have the horses there
yet, but we saw cows, pigs, and sheep, of course.
And they had this dog show, which was really neat.
XD You know, like the agility and obedience shows.
It was really fun... Ugh, gotta go. I'll tell you more
later. XD

Oh, you're so lucky. *glares at Megan* *looks appologetic* Sorry. I suppose it isn't your fault....
I'm glad you had fun!!! It sounds neat. :)

Oh! I love the State fair in MN! It's soooooo much fun! It's awesome too cause my grandma lives near where they have the state fair so all we have to do it park at her house and walk to the state fair! It works great! We don't have to pay for parking that way! yayyyyyyyyyy!!!! Or we could even ride a bike from our house, cause my grandma doesn't live too far away, just over a bridge actually, but the sidewalkes on the bridge are small, and there's usually a lot of traffic... especially during the state fair!

Sorry, Laura. :( You might still get to go. Maybe
you could talk your cousin into taking you? Or
some other family member? *looks hopeful*

Weeeelllll... maybe....
(August 4, 2009 - 12:54 pm)
Oh wow, that sounds like fun!

Oh, the fair! We live really close to the farigrounds in Washington, and our family goes every year. I mostly like the carnival rides, although I would never go on anything upside-down. But other than those few, I love the roller coaster, the swing seats, the cyclone, the giant slide... Except I wouldn't go on the thingamabob that goes high up and then drops. My friend went on that, and it was fun for me because I got to see the look on her face!
(August 3, 2009 - 12:16 am)
Haha. XD I don't know why we haven't went more.
I think it's just because we usually go on a week
long vacation and this year we didn't get to, so
we're open to alot of smaller things. *shrugs*
I'm gonna try to talk my parents into going next
year, too. :)

I live kinda near the fair grounds in Santa Rosa. We used to consider walking, until we realized we'd be walking the whole time in the fair too, and it would probably be better if we just drove. :)
I, surprisingly, have gone on the drop thing. It was scary fun!!!! 'Course, that was when I was little, and didn't realize what it was until I was on it.... :) Now I wouldn't do it in a million years!!
I don't go on most rides.... Ferris Wheel is my fav. Big slide. I used to like the swings, (that go in a circle and fly out sideways) until I heard that people get dizzy on them. When it comes to rides, I unfortunately have been very convincible. Now I wouldn't be able to go on them. I'd feel awful!!
Uh, I like the uh... no, I guess that's about it... Oh, I sometimes like the Merry-go-round, if it's a really big one, and doesn't go really fast. I'm pretty low key....

Heehee. My brother LOVES the rides. He
ended up only going on the ferris wheel ,though,
because we had to keep telling him that this
is a fair, not an amusement park (he is
obsessed with amusement parks...). Oh!
We saw the drop thingy whatever it's called,
too. There is a giant version of that at
King's Island (an amusement park in
Cincinnati), and my dad talked my brother
into riding it. XD It was so funny, because he
has pretty much labeled himself as the fearless
ride rider (????...o.O ) and he seemed really
scared on this. I can't explain, it was just a classic
moment. XP So I got a picture of him before the
ride started (I'm such a lovely big sister, aren't I?
*coughsarcasmcough*). But he hasn't went on the
one at the fair. Oops...sorry about my rambling. o.O
