I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

I do remember seeing you around a bit, yet very briefly indeed. It is so lovely to say hi again!! Life has been busy and I am forgetful, but I rarely forget my CBversary and the CB's impact on my life.
Actually it was my 3.5 x 2nd CBversary (7th), if you can believe it!! Crazy thing, Time is. The road goes ever on and on...

We shall see! Being in my second year of college, I am very busy, so it's not likely I'll be able to spend much time on the CB very consistently. I'm planning to at least drop in for my CBversaries if I can, and for Valentines Day.
Life has been crazy, but very much good on the whole!! I'm at a notoriously challenging university, so my grades have been iffy at times when I'm not at my best. Still finding a balance, but the major/program that I'm in is something I love and I'm super passionate about, so that helps some. I have an amazing group of friends to do life with away from home, and I've been so blessed by the people and the opportunities here!! Of course there are ups and downs, and a lot of stress mixed in, but overall pros outweigh cons.
How has life been for you? Things change so quickly it seems.

I'm glad your life is going well on the whole! (What's your major, if you don't mind me asking?) I've been in pretty much the same boat lol. I've been homeschooled since third grade and now, suddenly, I find myself in a Fancy Private Educational Institution where I've got to mix with people (what?? how do I do that??), keep on top of my multiple assignments, and get up fairly early (by my standards) in order to commute there... It's been a very chaotic month, with ups and downs, but I think I've finally gotten adjusted to it a bit more. I've found some people to hang out with - I wouldn't go so far as to say we're huge friends, but we're definitely our own little group, which is nice. In another class I've met some terrifically nice boys, who basically all talk to each other instead of me but are very nice and fun anyway. And most of the teachers are pretty great, and the classes in themselves are interesting (today we had a visit from the local zoo!! They brought rather disillusioning animals [giant millipedes yikes, and a frog and a snirk? - no, not a snirk, a snork? - no no no, a snipe? well, one of those snorpy things that is basically a lizard/dragon/dinosaur. and also a parakeet!]. It was pretty fun. I've also been going on field trips! I got to go to a nearby museum, on a bus, with all my classmates!! There was a "kerfuffle" to start with because there was a a car parked right in front of the bus, and so the bus couldn't proceed, and everyone clapped when the bus driver backed up and exited through another side exit, and it was very fun.) It's all very challenging, with the whole concept of grades and deadlines and homework, which is pretty new to me, but I've been enjoying it for the most part. Things do change really quickly...they're really different than they were in August, before classes started.
Anyway, I hope things keep going well! It's lovely to chat with you :)
PS: I remembered that the aforementioned snirp was not a snirp (whatever that may be) at all, but a skink. I don't think I'd ever seen one before, and the name didn't stick with me.

Congratulations on your 7th CBversary!! I've always thought of you as super cool and sophisticated in that sorta chaotic way (that I am desperately trying to achieve 24/7, though it is kinda hard to do that in my case as a Freshman in high school who's even new to the distric so...). But YAY! HI! *reaches behind random tree* *pulls out fox puppet* *mutters "No, that's not it..." and shoves puppet back* *pulls out a watercolor painting of iridescent rainbow cupcakes* Aha! This is what I wanted. *touches watercolor-cupcakes and poof! an identical, real cupcake appears in hand* *hands cupcake to you* *run/leaps behind tree* *you look behind tree and no one's there but a fox*

I started crew this year and I just had my first race and it was so embarrasing lollll. ok so we had to go under like seven bridges, and we were doing great until the last one which we hit. and our bow seat fell out of the boat (I was in a quad, so that's kind of impressive-) and her shoes came out and the steering got jammed completely to port. so she gets back in and we finish the race but I have to row dropping out on port almost the entire last 2k to constantly fix our point D: and then we get 7th/12 which isn't bad because we're novice and in a u17 division... but we totally could've placed!! if that hadn't happened!! aarghhhh
we race against novices tomorrow though so hopefully we can win that one!

It's only your first race, don't worry! It could have gone worse-- yesterday my school's crew team bumped into a dead body in the water mid-race :/
