Random Thoughts/Things?
I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

Sorry abt the double-post but
Finally listening to MCR (mainly The Black Parade) and oh my gosh why did I put this off, I love it, which honestly is a little strange bc me? I'm listening to MCR? Before, my music taste consisted of Musical Theater, 60s and 70s rock, "gay"/some indie songs, and a very select few of newer pop songs

Happy Earth Day everyone! Remember to recycle plastics and use reusable bags and turn off lights (not just today but everyday as well!)
(April 22, 2024 - 5:27 pm)
HAPPY EARTH DAY!!
Fact (bc it's not fun): less than 10% of plastic we "recycle" is actually recycled. Which means that repurposing or not using plastic in general is more efficient.
Also, plastic straws. Don't use them if you don't need them, or buy a wood or metal straw.
And maybe don't buy polyester because it releases micro- and nanoplastics when it's washed.

I just finished watching the Clone Wars last night and ohhh my stars *sobs*
(April 22, 2024 - 7:13 pm)
REAL!!! Omg that last arc... the animation... the dialogue... the action.... it's all sooo good. And those last shots always get me emotional.
(April 22, 2024 - 9:36 pm)
Yeah! The last arc was so sad but also REALLY good. I feel like they went out of their way to make it heartbreaking and it totally worked </3
got any favorite characters and arcs in the Clone Wars? I loved Ahsoka and most of the clones. I really liked the clone-focused arcs and the Mandalore arcs! I also just enjoyed watching Ahsoka's character development throughout the series!

Ahsoka!!!! She's my all time favorite, probably in all of star wars. Her character design in season seven is crazyyyy. My favorite of the clones is probably Fives closely followed by Rex. I also really liked the clone arcs, especially Umbara. All of the Madalore arcs are great but I especially love the Seige of Mandalore (one of the best lightsaber fights ever tbh).

Fun fact: my Minecraft skin is Ahsoka Tano :)
(April 23, 2024 - 2:12 pm)
Yeah honestly Ahsoka is definitely among my favorite Star Wars characters -- she has such good development and is really well written and also she's just super cool! I would also say I liked Fives and Rex the best of the clones.
Yesss the Umbara arc was so good! I really thought it did an amazing job distinguishing the various personalities of the clones; someone like Fives is willing to break rules (like, a lot of rules) and directly rebel against orders without hesitating (more of a chaotic good) whereas Rex, at least at that point of the show, was more likely to follow orders even if he does question them. He definitely won't blindly obey these orders (as is shown when he repeatedly expresses his opinions to Krell) and he won't allow Krell to walk all over him ("it's captain, sir" for example), but also chooses not to participate when Fives and the others literally do exactly what they were told not to do. Instead, he covers for them. I'd say he's a little bit more of a neutral good. I thought it was a super great way to highlight how both clones could think for themselves and were starting to question not just the instructions they were given on the field but eventually the entire war they're fighting, which ultimately connected to both of their endings perfectly.
Holy cow, I am so sorry for that rant. Not that many people like talking about Star Wars with me (possibly because I rant this much? Hmm) so I always get a little overexcited ahaha. And yes the Seige of Mandalore was amazing; that lightsaber fight was crazy!!
