I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

Ughhhh I hate that science essay SO MUCH. And I have to work on it soon today. I think it's due on Wednesday, but we won't have class time to work on it tomorrow. Annnd...I don't know if my science teacher cares about the different paragraphs being cohesive and working together or if he just wants the information to be in the paragraphs and doesn't need us to make it nice and flowy? 'Cause I would really rather not.
Whyyy did we have to write an essay instead of taking a test, whyyyyy

@Leafy, get ready.
Yesterday a big group of us went out for food after our closing show. I was sitting with my best friend Em, our good friend A, and a few other people. After a while we started talking about crushes and stuff, which was so very high school, but well, we are in high school.
I told them the guy I liked, who so happens to be A's best friend. Em said she liked this guy in our grade, C, (he doesn't do theater with us), who our other friend L (also not present) likes as well, but L doesn't know that Em likes C. Some other people that aren't involved in the main part of this story also talked about past and present crushes.
A doesn't really like talking about his life and I was really curious about who he liked, since he said he had liked the SAME PERSON since sixth grade but refused to say who. He said it would be really weird if he told me, which just made me more interested. I didn't want to be a jerk, though, so I backed off after a bit.
After, Em and I went back to her house to hang out. She said that she had a suspicion that A liked her because he texted her a few days ago and said something that sounded like he was dropping hints. Then A texted me, saying, "Are you still at Em's house?"
What I did next was very very mean and I feel absolutely terrible about it. In my defense, it was Em's idea, and in her defense, I didn't argue with her. I said, "No, why?"
He then proceeded to tell me about the crush he's had on Em for FIVE. YEARS, while she read the texts over my shoulder. He really really likes her. She's now super stressed, because she doesn't like him but doesn't want to ruin their friendship, etc. etc. The classic cliche.
At this point Em stopped reading the texts bc we both felt too guilty. I was trying really hard to make him feel better without leading him on, because I couldn't say, "she might like you" since she DOESN'T and it would be worse to tell him that while knowing it's not true. Anyway, he went to bed (at 8:37 bc he's like that) and Em and I lamented about boys for a while.
So A and I have crushes on each others best friends. We're forming a club.

Yesterday was sad. Because HE and grrIzzygrr were talking about HYPIXEL and I wanted to join in but D wasn't helping and Izzy doesn't ever really listen to me and besides all I really had to say was that I played it.....which is kinda lame on its own.
But then we played Telephone and that went decently.

I haven't been on this thread in a while but it seems like we're charing crush drama, and I'd like to unpack.
So I have a crush on one of my best friends, A, but for a while I wasn't the only one, and I knew someone who was crushing on her who wasn't me, so I just ignored it. Now, as far as I know (although other sources tell me otherwise) I'm the only one now. I don't think she likes me back, but maybe she will eventually?
Anyway, so my best friend B, who knows I like A, started joking about shipping us. Unfortuntely for me, it caught on, and now it's this giant running joke that we're dating. And the worst part is that she'll make couple jokes, and I'll have to not die or be to obvious, and I swear she's going to find out sooner or later, and it won't end well for me.
Any advice?

The CB is so inactive lately it's annoying...especially the Inkwell! Cuz the Inkwell is usually so busy and now there are only about three threads that have been posted on recently. (The last reply from the fourth from the top was 3 days ago)....
However November is a busy month for NaNoWriMo people, isn't it? so it makes sense.

I know! But you probably think it's inactive right now based on what it's been like for the past couple months (although I'm just assuming); I think it's really really inactive right now based on what it's been like years ago so....Yeah it used to be so busy
Honestly I feel like a lot of people's energy goes into this thread. Like there would be more stuff happening if people didn't just send their ideas here...because if there wasn't this thread, people would be more likely to find other ways to express themselves. Also, we don't have a lot of people right now and the ones we do have aren't being very active or putting much into the CB (myself included).

Yeah...I try to make new threads and stuff but I can't be too committed and my idea store has gone kind of empty in regards to the CB. We are talking so much on this thread about things not entirely random, like with the crush thing...but I think it's easier to talk (at least for me) on here because you don't have to stay on topic and it does get off the topic of before you can put it right back on it IF that makes any sense and now I'm rambling and I'm hungry so bye!!!!!!

Yeah, I use this thread a lot because I wouldn't make a whole thread like "my crush smiled at me today!" but I might want to get those thoughts out, and here is an easy way to do it.
Also, the big "booms" of activity in the past were because of Crowd Sorcery and Kyngdom and stuff like that. There hasn't been a new activity like that drawing people to the website in a while, so that might be part of the inactivity— fewer new users.
But, yeah, ya'll have a point. I remember when there were people complaining that there were way too many threads and telling people to not make so many because if a thread wasn't getting constant comments it would be on page 2 in like, a day. Wild times...
