I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

Hope things go well for you two!
I don't personally have much experience in similar situations, since I'm neither straight nor particularly romantically inclined, but I'd still like to help if I can!
For example, consider:
> What are your shared interests?
Knowing these ahead of time/earlier on the date can make it easier for you two to have something to talk about. Knowing what he likes and having something cool to say about can also keep the conversation from lulling, and it getting awkward.
> Be genuine!
If you have certain interests that would make for good conversation, don't be afraid to share them! (Just be mindful, so that you're not only talking about yourself the whole time.)
> Show interest in him!
Don't be afraid to be pretty expressive, it'll be more engaging that way. (Obviously don't go way overboard, but don't be underwhelming by being to quiet or inexpressive with your face, especially if you're wearing masks.)
> Stay composed!
If he asked you out first, he probably likes you for you! Don't try too hard to take all these different pieces of advice, or get really nervous. Just stay calm and express yourself!
You're an amazing person -- super creative and smart and kind -- so there's no need to worry! Good luck, and I'll be rooting you on when you finally decide on the date! :)

Aww thank you Jaybells! That all seems like very good advice :) I am also neither straight nor romantically inclined (neither is he lol), which is why I was having a little freak outl- but we're already friends and I've been to starbucks (the place he asked me out to) with him before many times, there was just other people there as well. I'm not looking for anything super serious but I think it'll be fun to hang out just the two of us. Idk, we'll see how it goes, though it probably won't be for a while because we have a weeklong break starting tomorrow so we won't see each other. I'm excited tho :P

Random Would-you-rather!! Yould you rather be defenestrated or decapitated?
I've asked this to a couple people, and they both said defenestrated (after I told them what it meant), because it could be on the first floor. Which got us onto another conversation. But a random thing: Two springs ago (was it really 2 springs?? I thought it was last spring!!), when we first started school online, I was in my dining room for school, which is on the first floor, and has many windows that are about 6 feet of the ground. So, what I did many times, was jump/climb out the window, then climb back in. It was a lot of fun.... I wanna go do that again. Bye for now; gotta go jump out the window!!

Defenestrated, probably, though clearly it depends on the situation. If you mean as a way to die... I guess I'd probably say the same. I'd like to stay in one piece, if possible.

Sadly I went to a boba shop with my crush and spilled boba on her :( but she said it was fine but what made it worse was me being stupid and kept apologizing even though she said it was fine...

speaking as someone who actually *has* had boba spilled on me (by my crush at the time, incidentally), for me it was honestly just funny. i don't know your crush, but if she laughed i bet she just thought it was funny. she probably wouldn't be upset by you apologizing excessively either. i would just move on with life---don't get hung up on it. you can't control her reaction. what happened, happened, & keep hanging out with her :) i'm 97% sure that she's not thinking about it at all.
