I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

How funny would it be if a character in my novel, who's known for being absurdly lucky, gets struck by lightning and almost dies because of it?

Julie and the Phantoms is so good! I watched it for the first time and then I was like, "you know what, I'm going to watch it again!" Gosh I love this show so much, the music is so catchy and the characters and it made me smiles so much when I was watching it (because the parts where I was crying, cough, unsaid emily, cough).

I've been coming up with songs that represent characters in the book I'm writing. Do any of you do that too? Here are the ones I have, with a bit about each character. First some context: Alastair, the king, is resigning, and lizardo, the wizard, decides to hold the Royal trials to determine who becomes king. Tidepool, Frost, and Flame are competing.
Sun Fearstriker: Mother of Frost and Moon, she died of a sickness when Frost was little. She's really kind and understanding and calm- Even Though I'm Leaving by Luke Combs
Frost Fearstriker: Son of Sun, after she died, he became bitter and unhappy about everything. He felt like he had no purpose in life, so now he's sarcastic and (SPOILER ALERT!) turns evil. Part one- Stressed Out by Twenty-One Pilots and Part two (when he's powerful and more confident) Eye of the Tiger by Survivor
Flame Fearstriker: Frost's half brother, thinks he's awesome, not very smart, strong, narrow-minded, entergetic, selfish, thinks he's going to win the Royal Trials easily- I Just Can't wait to be King
Thunder: Main antagonist so far, manipulative, pretends to be the good guy, evil. I have two songs for him- Rasputin by Boney M. And Safe and Sound by Capital Cities
Lizardo: the Royal wizard, mischevious, wise, veeery powerful, but he definitely earned his power because getting to where he is now took a long time-On top of the world by Imagine Dragons
Moon: Frost's sister, witty, stays strong even when bad things happen, encouraging- Legends Never Die by League of Legends
Alastair: king (not for long hehe), wise, indecisive, caring- Should I Stay or Should I Go by The Clash
Tidepool Treetop: Kind, doesn't really want power, (SPOILER ALERT) future king, nobody expects him to win the Trials- Thunder by Imagine Dragons
Tidepool's dad (unnamed so far): Cares a ton about Tidepool- My Wish by Rascal Flatts
Tidepool and his friend Skystrike: They're each other's only friend. Other people- I mean animals- think they're weird- Freaks by Jordan Clarke (THIS SONG IS AMAZING)

Is it weird that I'm going through a deep-thinking, self-reflection phase??? I mean, I suddenly feel like I know ME. ._. So I'm gonna be cryptic for a while, be perpared. Also I found a thing called goblincore and I LOVE IT it feels so much like who I wanna be. I have a nagging feeling that I'm meant for something more. Something... not of this earth.
