I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. I don't remember a ton about Hazel's Theory of Evolution but I remember liking it. A Home For Goddesses and Dogs I read more recently. I loved it obsessively the first time I read it. The second time it was a little slow but very comforting in a way. :)

Hey that's so cool we've both read those books! A Home For Goddesses and Dogs was a little slow for me too, and Hazel's Theory of Evolution I just finished and I really enjoyed it- it felt so realistic to my experiences. I just love cozy books like those.

Okay, so apparently the flavored part of a Pocky stick goes on the bottom, not the top. I thought that that would be upside down and you only put it like that when dipping your Pocky stick in Nutella or being smart and eating the boring side first, but apparently not, so how I have been imagining it with the fun part on top is all wrong and upside down.
*brain explodes*

i was in the city (san fransisco) this week with some friends and we went to the castro-
oh my gosh
it was so rainbow!
there was pride flags EVERYWHERE and the freaking streets has RAINBOW CROSSWALKS *dies*
*revives*
and we went shopping in this place called coll's variety (CHECK IT OUt-) that had literally eVeRyThInG
i got a cup
that was it
i also wrote down a list of 400 objects i needed to own >:3
but there was pride flag fans, bags, banners, soaps, fabric, everything-
and there was bronze plates in the sidewalk that had stories about the gay rights movement history written on them
and i am literally so happy because ALL OF MY FRIENDS WERE FINE WITH It
and yes she came and she was saying how cool it all was
and so i am very happy
although i also feel like a train wreck because i was up until 3 am playing minecraft with my friends :,D

That's so cool!! I once went to an area of a city where it was like that, lots of cool Pride stuff and also Harry Potter and Percy Jackson stuff! And my parents and grandparents actually chose to go to the cafe with a giant Pride flag in front! (and also a mural of David Bowie)
Anyway congrats and I'm lowkey jealous bc I don't have close friends anymore bc my one friend decided to dump me for no reason D:

Andra Day has such a beautiful voice. And Rise Up is such a beautiful song. And Andra Day is such a beautiful name.

Omg yesss, Rise Up is such an amazing song. It's strangely empowering for some reason. Also, Andra Day really is a cool name XD
