I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Y'know, I think people are putting out decorations super early because of...well, this awful year. They want to make it as special and as drawn out as possible.

That's true. I guess we all need an extra dose of happy this year. To be completley honest, we proabably would be planning our decorations, too, if not for the rule in our household that we can't really prep for the winter holidays until after my mom's birthday on the 7th... when she was a kid she didn't want her bday to be overshadowed by Christmas so my grandma made the rule and it's stuck around XD Still... there's only so many times I can listen to my sister play jingle bells...

XD that's a good rule. I always wait until after thanksgiving, specifically the first day of advent (sunday after thanksgiving) Today I was shopping and every store was playing Christmas music, and it's just too catchy- And Mariah Carey OH My goodness
I don't want a lot for Christmas...
