I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. A piece of joke poetry that I wrote and did not wish to contaminate the Regular Poetry thread with:
Boredom envelopes me like a cloud
I breathe the stifling air of my prison
School is boring
Homework is boring
My book is boring
Life is boring
I am the best poet since Einstien
I am a spoiled child
I have a few more, but I think this one may be my favorite.

No, it's fine, you're not stupid at all! My "poem" is just odd, and you wanted to make sure I had basic history straight and knew that Einstien didn't write poetry. It's just a joke I have, since I'm not a great poet, and I suspect (although don't know) that Einstein, brilliant though he was, wasn't the best at poetry. (:

Hey, how would you guys feel if I TACKLED DEVAN K. FOR NO REASON, KIDNAPPED HIM, LOCKED HIM IN MY CLOSET AND AS HE WAS SCREAMING "HELP!!!" JUST TOLD MY PARENTS, "OH, DON'T WORRY, I'M DOING AN EXPERIMENT TO SEE HOW CATS REACT TO HORROR MOVIES"?!

I think I'm not ok. I haven't been able to call Ripley because my mom said this: "Wait, until *Ripley's real name* calls you." So I said "Mom, she's NEVER gonna call me! The ONLY way I can talk to her is to call her!" And on top of that, I JUST found out that my Grandma and Ripley won't be able to visit thanks to Grandma's totally unfair boss sayin' that she can't take a vacation!
