I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Has anyone else noticed how many of the backround characters' last names in PJO are puns? Like, Travis and Connor Stole. haha. Like, "stole." Katie Gardner and Miranda Gardiner (or is it the other way around?). Both of their last names are variations on the word "gardener." Holy and Laurel Victor. They come in later in PJO but, first of all, there is "laurel" like laurel wreaths given as awards, and theres also "victor." Will Solace is a pun on two levels. "sol" means sun and "solace" means giving comfort, like a healer. Is it just a coincedence that it's like this or did the Fates decide to mess with people's last names?
Okay, I know pun is completely the wrong word, it's just funny and ironic.
Also, in HoO it says that a god wouldn't have a child with the same mortal twice, unless it was in their Roman for one and Greek form the other time. I can think of two times this is broken: Nico and Bianca di Angelo, and Travis and Connor Stoll. Has anyone else noticed this? Any speculations on how/why?

I think both of those pairs of siblings are twins, but I am not sure. I know Nico and Bianca are but I don't know about Travis and Conner.

Actually neither pairs are twins...
Bianca is older than Nico and I think that Connor is older than Travis but I may be mistaken.

Luminescence, you're right -- Bianca is older and one of Connor or Travis is. When we first met the di Angelos they were 10 and 12.

u ever just watch something like an animation or and edit or a musical or a fanfiction and you just realize like 'holy carp i want to do something as cool as that' but u don't have any clout because the insta algorithm is a monster :p at least theres my novel but like i literally only have motivation for one month a year

if theres a diagon alley (diagonally) there should be a horizont alley (horizontally) and a vertice alley (vertically). If there's a knockturn alley (nocturnally) there should be a diurn alley (diurnally).

Does anyone else just eat ice cubes? I mean, its water in a package, what's not to like? You have to suck it first, then you can crunchchew it. ...I know I'm weird, whatever lol
