Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Merry Christmas! 

So Christmas is in 5 days (YIKES) and I just thought I'd make a thread for anyone who celebrates Christmas. Do you have any special Christmas traditions? Anything wishlist items that you'd like to share? Do you believe in Santa?

My family has sort of been panicking about Christmas because we've had a hectic year--we've been renovating our kitchen, and my mom had to get a new car, but ended up turning that one back in and getting a different one, and my brother bought himself a car and also, we've had some problems with my two little brothers fighting pretty much ALL THE TIME and being horrible at co-existing with each other so my mom has not had much time to do really anything....My parents did say in November or something that they had not bought anything in advance, like they usually do, and that there might not be a lot of presents this year. But I think it's going to turn out to be a good Christmas anyway--our tree is pretty, there are presents under it, my sister and I are going to go Christmas shopping in a couple days, and I'm going to have a good time with my family no matter what.

I really hope it snows on Christmas! A couple years ago, it was like 60 or 70 degrees on Christmas and it was SO WEIRD. Me and my older brother and sister went and roamed around the neighborhood and there were so many people out walking or just hanging out outside. We were in t-shirts. And we live in MAINE. So. I hope it snows this Christmas.
