Lol, Laura, I'm not leaving forever!!!  I'm already back!!!  :)  And I don't think there are postcards where I went anyway.  I canoed on a lake in the middle of nowhere, (well, not THAT bad), but there were tons of people on the lake.  I had tons of fun, especially since it has been VERY hot here. 100 degrees!!! 103 right now!!!!  Phew!!! =)  It wasn't a very big lake... I swam across it in the more shallow parts.  But it was so refreshing!!! :D  

There was also this really big rock near shore.  My siblings and I were jumping off on the lower parts of the rock, but it was very high.  After my brother and my dad jumped off the high part, I finally made myself do it.  It was soooo scary.  And I am somewhat afraid of heights.  It was exhilarating and my heart was racing!!!!  But that bad part was that water wasn't particularly deep, so I hit ground... but not that bad.  

It was almost too hot to canoe so we mostly swam.  And right when I got home, I jumped in our 'pool'... a blow-up waste deep but so worth it piece of deflating junk. It will be hard to get to sleep tonight becuz of the heat!!!!!!

I had a teacher who had lived in Indonesia. He said that it was so hot there that in the middle of the day (the hottest time) that everyone would just lie down on wet towels. I wish you cooler weather!
