Chatterbox: Down to Earth

I checked in here for what I intended to be one of the last times. I haven't really posted on here in a few months, and I was about to make a leaving thread. And then I looked at new threads. 

Whoops.

I can't leave, because I looked around and I remembered all these wonderful people and saw newer faces (I haven't been on here for a few months) and then I realized that I just can't leave this amazing place because... I can't. I'd miss it. I'd be back on here at some point, sooner or later, but probably sooner.

Argh, this is turning out more formal than I intended.

(Maybe it's because I'm working on a summer project- 2-3 paragraphs about a book and 5-6 paragraph essay on a topic related to said book that I've procrastinated on all summer and now I'm panicking slightly because school starts in like a week and I'm going to be a freshman and AAAAAAAaaaaaaAAAAAaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAaaaa... let this be a lesson to you, people reading this: DON'T PROCRASTINATE ALL SUMMER. It makes life so much more stressful. Darn it, I've gotten really off track.)

Aaaannnnyways, I've decided to post under a new name, and not disclose my previous identity- at least not yet and probably not for a while- because I've changed so much since I first got here around two years ago, and I feel like my old CB self was outdated with who I am, if that makes any sense? So much about me has changed, and I just can't seem to change my CB self to fit who I am now.

So, icarus, she/her, gonna be fourteen soon.

Has anybody used this name before? If they have, tell me and I'll change it.

I don't remember anyone on Chatterbox using the name before. I just remember the old story about Icarus flying too close to the sun.
