I play a little bit. I've played the board games for a while, and started playing the actual thing when I was camping in July (one of my . . . acquaintences is a DM). My brother really liked it and wants to be a DM now, so my parents, my neighbor, and I are training him by playing through a default dungeon (with default characters, why is there no paladin, argh). It's pretty fun.

Oh my Claaws, yes. I love D&D. I played a campaign a while ago with my whole immediate family, my dad DMing, and recently my dad, my twin and I started another. I think it's first edition? My character for this one is an elven magic user with hemophilia and a black cat familiar.

Yeah, although rarely. I play with my cousins whenever we get a chance to see each other for a weekend, so maybe like... twice a year. XD
I also drew some little character profiles of all our characters, and I might end up posting them.

I actually didn't super like the 1 1/2 Xmen movies I saw. There were some funny moments, but as someone who grew up watching Xmen TAS (which is really close to the older Xmen comics) and X-men Evolution (which is a little newer) on Saturday mornings, I was kind of disappointed. I was so hyped to see the classic storylines come alive in a bigger, more exciting and grown-up way, but I was let down by the quality. I guess they were good movies, but I just expected them to be different.

I love X-Men! I should really rewatch them. They're great movies, Magneto's a brilliant antagonist.

I wish I played DnD, it sounds so fun and awesome and nerdy. There's a DnD club at my school, maybe I should join. But I'm kinda worried that learning it and playing it will be to hard and time-consuming. Yep, I'm lazy that way. Also, I find the stereotypes around DnD kinda problematic. Like I once read a thing where someone said that only desperate girls play it because the guys there can't get any girls to like them so the girl who plays will automatically have guys who like her. I know none of it is true but it definitely annoyed me and as a girl I hope that if I play DnD no one will take it that way.

Also, speaking of things I consider sorta nerdy, I plan to join my school's Quiz Bowl team this year. Anyone else do Quiz Bowl?

Is that like knowledge bowl? My brother does knowledge bowl, and I'll probably do it this year.

Quiz Bowl is like a trivia thing where teams answer trivia questions and get points for it and participate in tournaments. (I'm not really sure what it's like yet because this will be my first year.) I'm guessing knowledge bowl is similar?
