I'll help you

I'll help you cross the bridge.

"Ok, Sure,"

I'll cook your dinner.

"Ok, Sure,"

I'll boost you up so you can reach your goals.

"Ok, Sure,"

Because I can't have any myself.

Because my only goal

Is to help others reach their own.

I'll forever be the little one.

The invisible one.

The sidekick to the superhero.

Who sits there all pretty

Like a little cherry blossom on a giant tree

Just an accessory.

There to say it's all diverse.

When all I can do

Is sit there all pretty.

So please remember

That we have always been here

Even if we are a tiny percentage of your population

We are still here

Waiting to be recognized

Waiting to be more than a little flower

A side character, there to make the hero look bigger

I'm not a little doll

I'm a human being with struggles

I have passions and talents

I have likes and dislikes

You can't just sit me down on the floor

And stare at my foreign face

Like it's just a decoration.

Recognize my existance

And let me be something more.

back to the Down to Earth

I'm standing behind glass

Wanting to break through

You all have pain

I've felt pain too

A sea of words

Some of them mine

The only release 

From hurtful life 

I see through

I understand

The sorrow

I can touch it with my hand

But I still don't break through

Because for so long

I thought

That it was better

To stay in the cage of oblivion

But no more 

All of those hurting

Come take my hand

We'll run away

To another land

Inside imagination

We cannot be hurt

For we are proud and beautiful

And they will all learn

How we really are

The pain you have felt

It will fade away

When somebody

Understands

And I'll do that

The back row becoming my sanctuary.

Oh my gosh, Neko. That's amazingly beautiful. I honestly don't have anything to say after that. Pooki, you're not alone. *cringes* That sounds really stupid next to Neko's poem. But it's the best I can come up with, and I honestly hope it helps.
