I got a pixie cut yesterday (what I wanted since April), and I have been OBSESSED with it.  To prove it: There's a little poofy part that I played with for an hour today (brushing it, straightening it, shaping it, turning it into a mohawk, etc.). XD 

While riding the rush of finally being happy with my hair, I have a discussion question for y'all (who are girls):

Do you have a pixie cut or know anyone with a pixie cut? If so, what was your reaction to getting it and having it?

 

~~~I'm actually pretty worried that no one has a pixie cut. Ahhhh... I'll let this thread die then. Mentally preparing myself. :/

back to the Down to Earth

I used to have a pixie cut! They're so fun and easy to manage, especially if you have thick hair like mine! I loved having it but eventually got bored (which is what made me cut it in the first place, XD) so I'm growing it out again. I'll warn you, it's kind of a pain to grow it out again if you ever want to but there are hairstyles you can do to make it look cute at any length, so... Exciting! I'm glad you like your haircut!

One of my friends at my old school had really long hair she wore in braids, then got a pixie cut. It was cool.

So, I’m a girl rn, so I’ll answer this. I used to have a pixie cut, and I loved it. (Now I’ve got a chin length edgy layered hair) 

Bela say caki. Cake? No Bela, no cake. You’ll be bouncing around for hours.

I've actually considered cutting my hair really short a couple times. My hair might be a bit weird with this because it's kind of weird..... like when I cut it pretty short it naturally curls, but at the same time the curls are really easy to brush out. It also straightens well, though, so maybe it could work....? Either way, it's just a frizzball 99% of the time. All this to say, if anyone on this thread with possibly similar hair has gotten their hair in a pixie, or just really short, I would love to hear what you thought about it because I'd probably want to know what I'm headed into before I commit to anything XD

I HAVEN'T HAD HAIR LONGER THAN 5 INCHES SINCE 2ND GRADE

I love pixie cuts, but I'm growing the top of my hair out so I can get an EdGy ^TM undercut and dye it blue.

My hair’s really short, but not a pixie cut- I think pixie cuts really depend on the person who’s wearing them- they make your face look more kiddish and rounder, which looks good on some people but not the best on me. I’m a fan of most short haircuts, though- they’re really easy to style to look good, and nice in hot weather like this.

*waves hand* I have a pixie cut! I got it in November, I think, so it's been a while now. It's so easy to take care of, and just personally, it works better with my face shape. Currently, I'm on vacation in London and haven't had a haircut in a while, so it's getting long in the back, which is annoying. Sometimes I miss having long hair and being able to do braids and all that cool stuff, but I don't want to go through the trouble of growing it out, so I'm sticking with what I have.
