This evening my family and I are going to watch the first Captain America movie, set off some Sparklers and Victory Swords (basically Sparklers but swords) and watch a fireworks show. During the day I'm going to work on this short film I'm filming with my friends, which has nothing to do with fourth of July, but whatever. 

We're getting pizza for dinner, and we're making smores on our family stove!

I watched RBG, the documentary about Ruth Bader Ginsburg!

I went to the pool, where they had all sorts of events like a watermelon relay and a belly flop contest! Now I'm going to see some fireworks. I live near DC, but I'm not going to the show on the Mall. 

(Shy Peacock, I don't blame you for not going to the Mall! It must be packed!)

We go camping for the Fourth of July weekend and only just got back! This is the first time in ages I've actually been at home for the holiday. NYC had a ton of fireworks going off, so we went over to a friend's and hung out on their roof to watch the show! It was really enjoyable - both the ones over the East River and the ones that people were just setting off from their roofs.

I wrote for camp NaNoWriMo yesterday, and am going to a country town to watch fire works either Saturday or Sunday. I also made this: 

I went to the top of a five story building with my friend and ate cake and pizza, and watched the fireworks. The building was near a fireworks show, and it was also downtown so there were loads. And then I started singing Hamilton really loudly. It’s about the American Revolution, so it seemed fitting.
