Hey all! I'm going to overnight camp in two weeks, and I want to participate in the talent show! But, I don't have an act. I don't really have any performance talents, but I came up with one idea: do a dramatic reading of a short story or poem. And of course, I couldn't find a suitable story/poem.
So, I need help.
Does anyone have a short story (3 pages or less)/poem recommendations or a short story/poem that you wrote that I could read for the talent show? Also, does anyone have any recommendations for a talent show talent that doesn't involve the ability to play a musical instrument?

That's a great idea for an act! Another thing on a similar line would be to read monologue out loud-- there's some hilarious and dramatic ones that you can find online or in a monologue book. If you can do something with someone else, you could try writing/acting a skit with them. I'm going to overnight camp too, in forty-five minutes, so I can't give you anything more than that right now! Good luck!
