My friend's mom is really, really rude to her.

Like, to the point of verbal abuse.

I don't know what to do about it. 

It doesn't seem to bother my friend much anymore, but it bothers me. I don't know what to do about this. Do you guys have any advice?

Heck, that's really tough. :0 

I wish I could help with these kind of things in an obviously meaningful way, but here's my little bit of advice:

Be as kind to them as you can. If their mother won't be nice, you can, and so can everyone else. I've learned this because my art class friend's sister is like that to her. The best thing us children can do is show a little bit of kindness, which I'm sure you already are doing.

But, I'm still a child, so I may not have the best idea ever. Just tell them that they have my support if it ever bothers them too much.
