Hello, all! I have returneed from the shadows.
So. The computer issue is all worked out. We did get a new one, and fortunately I didn't have to pay for it entirely. We got the hard drive out unharmed and I got to see the inside of a laptop.
It smelled like dust. And coffee.
All the old files (except for the photos, thank goodness) are kinda messed up. None of them have names, and some of them are not there, but if we need anything else there's some deep scanning software that'll retrieve them to an extent. Nothing devastating happened, but it's going to take a substantial amount of sorting and deleting to get back to normal. Otherwise, a fairly happy ending for the latte fiasco! I'll be back to long RP posts, photography contests, and conversing.
Also... there is an important upcoming date. Someone mentioned this in the magazine, so I dug furthur into it.
If you search a full URL in google, the address bar will say https://www.google.com/search? followed by a long string of technical jargon/total gibberish (depending on your point of view). If you paste &as_qdr=y15 after everthing in the URL, you will get the same search results, but:
Next to every result is the exact date that website was put online.o7

Oh, stuff to do for the CB's 10th anniversary? We could do anniversary themed ski lodges, SI's, AE chat threads and such. We could have an official party thread for all, including AE's! So, in short... My idea is:
PARTY. THAT IS ALL.

To celebrate, we should all drink a toast to cricket. Like we set a time and then at that time everyone drinks thier favorite drink. I'll be like "oh yea it's been 10 years of chatterbox" **drinks pineapple juice**
Yes... we have pineapple juice on the moon. We ran out of orange juice. Now pineapple juice is all i have to drink.

I had no idea CB would be turning ten soon! Also, while you may not have seen me ever before, it is still good to hear you will be here now. I would like to get to know everyone! My idea for celebrating the tenth anniversary would be to have maybe a special thread celebrating it!

Ten years? Wow. Let's see... I'm terrible at party-planning. I guess we could hold a contest? Throw confetti and tell jokes? Plan a meetup? No, too short notice for that last one.
If there's to be a party, though, there should be food. I suggest Blue Moon ice cream. :3

Welcome back, Alizarine! As for the CB's tenth birthday... we should definitely have some sort of celebratory thread, and I know I'll be eating Blue Moon ice cream!
I'm honored you'll be eating Blue Moon ice cream. Do you know where to find it? It's not universal like chocolate or vanilla.

I've got it! We'll make an interactive webcomic!
Interactive webcomics work like this: People post suggestions or "commands", and the creator turns them into a comic! Or a highly illustrated story, whichever. I'd do the art and the final story, maybe in collaboration with a few other committed souls who won't drop out at a vital time *restores composure*, and you all tell me where to go with it. What do you think?
