Do you want
Chatterbox: Down to Earth
Do you want
Do you want to be part of a project? My final English project? Lucky for you, I'm in desperate need of help. We have to do a portfolio collection related to identity, and I'm making a collection of poems about how teens (you guys!) identify themselves.
If you could answer these two questions, I would really appreciate it.
1. In a couple lines, describe your identity
2. In one sentence, what does identity mean to you? I will combine these into a poem.
Again, thanks for your help!

2. Your identity is in many complex layers, from who you are on the surface to your core. But the heart of your identity is in the sole thing most important to you- it’s your compass, your North Star, what your everything is founded upon; it’s where your identity truly is. You may not even realize where you really find the core of your identity. My identity, my core is in Christ.
Azkiel says fria. Freya? What got you onto Norse mythology?

1-My identity is me. I can describe me as much as I want, but at the end of the day I am still myself.
2-Identity is something that you put like a label on yourself, what you, in your core belive yourself to be.

Why'd my name change? Admins, I know it's your decision to decide, but Bloomingstar doesn't sound like a real last name to me.
Sorry about that! Sometimes it can be tricky to tell what's a real name or not and in this case we erred on the side of caution. You can always add a note letting us know something is a fictional name if you think it might be a particularly confusing one.

1. I love musicals, art, and friends. I live for my friends and my relationships with others. I try to be there. Sometimes I'm not sure though. Sometimes I wonder what would happen if I tried to be someone else. And I wonder what's stopping me. My identity is still growing, like an unfinished painting, or a flower bud.
2. Identity is what you make it.

1) I'm an artistic nerd who doesn't know when to stop studying. I walk on a tightrope over a canyon full of different choices and opportunities, and I don't really know where it is taking me. I feel the need to dance on that tightrope sometimes to show the rest of the world I'm not afraid of falling.
2) Identity can't be labeled.

Thank you to everyone who has responded. All of your answers are so beautifully you (yay!). One day I promise I'll post the finished product. :D But for now, I'll just keep writing... all summer long...and try to finish this English project by August 27. :P
