Chatterbox: Down to Earth
Hey! I was
Hey! I was wondering if everyone could just do one post saying your name, age, and location (whatever you put for those). A lot of you don't put your age, which confuses me, and I just wanted to have a list of everyone's at once. Thanks! I'm Emily H., age 13, in Sparks, NV.

Yes, we bugs and Admins are particularly interested in seeing where everyone is from.

Heh. I'm so grateful that here in Sonoma County, humidity is NOT something we have to endure...

Oh I'm sure it'll seem warm to US Minnesotans.... :D

In case you're interested in details (though
you probably don't care... XD ) I live in a
small town in Ohio, by the river, and I'm
about two hours away from Cincinnati.

Megan, that kinda sounds where I used to live in Ohio. I won't say the place, becuz I don't want to, but I'll just say this... is your town the name of a color??? lol!!
(July 14, 2009 - 6:07 pm)
Haha! XD Unfortunately, no ('cause it
would've been cool if you used to live in
the same town as me XD ), but I bet it's
really close to where I live. :D

Haha, my youth leader's daughter (who's like 21 or something, but she acts like she's 13) and I were talking about how people from way down south [in Mainah' language, that's anywhere south of York County] don't know that Maine's a state (well, you guys do, because you're smarter than some people...). :) She said that one time, in Disney (I think), she told someone she was from Maine, and they asked, "Really? Do they have running water there??" (We told her she should have said we use hamster power and bicycle power :)) Another time, someone asked her where in Canada Maine was... Then, she said that when her friend was in Disney, a person who worked there asked her friend's dad (who's a COMPLETE wicked Mainah': plaid shirt, tall L.L. Bean boots, wicked accent, etc.) where he was from, and when he told her that he was from Maine, she said, "Really?? I've never met one before!!" I guess people think we're cool (or really weird, haha...). :):) If it's weird, then I'll tell people I'm Floridian. :)

There was a lady working for a New Mexico information agency, and she said she's had people call and ask if the water there was Ok to drink, and once a magazine editor called to say that they'd like to do an article on New Mexico and wanted to know if that country had any strange customs. :D Maine's not the only one.

Haha, I wouldn't want that editor working for my magazine!! :):) That's really funny!! :) I have to go to bed now, because in my timezone it's 12:12 (sigh, I can't really make a wish for that... :( ). :):)

Wow, I thought I was the only one who stayed up that late around here... :)
Wow, that editor is going to loose his job for SURE!! Poor silly fellow. :)
