HELLO! I'm Bluebird if you don't remember me, I disappeared off the face of the CB a couple months ago, but here's a thread checking in! My 2nd CBerversary also passed (April 12) while I was gone. I've missed you!
My life has been crazy and wonderful for the past few months, here's an update:
1. I graduate 8th grade in exactly one week. I'm very excited because I achieved my goal of never being off honor roll for a single semester in all my years :D :D
2. I have a boyfriend now! (It's kinda complicated because I dated someone else and broke up with them in the time I was gone too....) but basically this person has been my crush since kindergarten and now we're going to the same high school, so it's all working out perfectly.<3
3. Some family friends were cleaning out a deceased family member's house and gave me an old sewing machine they found there. I've sewn a dress on it! Also, I have learned to embroider, crochet a sweater, am finally getting the hang of acrylic painting (!!!), mastered word-lettering, and worked on many other projects. I've been busy XD
4. IT'S SPRING YOU GUYS!!! Here in IL it hasn't been warm in FOREVER. M7y plants are growing and everything is pretty <3

Woohoo for graduation! Graduating into high school is the biggest jump (after graduating high school and college of course). And it's great that you were on honor role all year. I'm homeschooled, so I'm not 100% sure what that means, but yay for you!
Ooh, boyfriend. I hope everything between you two turn out well! ❤
Wow, a dress? That's quite advanced, at least from a person who can't sew to save their life. But I do love acrulic painting! (Do you maybe have any tips?)
Yay for warm weather! I like warm better than cold (weather wise), except when it's humid. And it's always humid in Texas. But up north it must be so pretty with all of your plants!
Nothing's really been going on with me. Same homework, same crush, same hopes and dreams. My spring life is quite boring. But I just finished reading thru the script for the summer show that our theater is doing. It's Jack and the Giant Beanstalk, and I'm aiming for the chicken or the harp. Auditions are in two weeks, and I'm so excited!!!
Anyways, I'm so glad to have you back Bluebird!! I'm sure I speak on the behalf of all of the CB when I say I missed you dearly. ❤

1) That's cooool! Congrats on achieving your goal--that's always wonderful.
2) Wow! Boyfriend? Dating? Aww, that's nice.
3) So cool! My sister graduated college yesterday (HONORS STUDENT YAYYY) and she got an antique electric sewing machine that my mom found online--it's heavy, but portable. She's also getting another one that's a treadle machine and sort of half-desk-half-sewing machine.
4) It's been....cool. For lack of a better word. We had some nice, warm, sunny days, though! We have plants too. ^^
5) @Butterfly--you are. You've got to be kidding me. I never knew. I'll just add you to the list of older CBers who I've known forever that I keep finding out are homeschooled. *Dazed expression*

Hi Bluebird! It's great to see you again! 1. Congratulations on graduation, that's exciting! 2. I hope things go well with you and your boyfriend! 3. That's so cool! I never really got the hang of sewing (or embroidering, or crocheting), but that's great that you made a dress. My family recently cleaned out my deceased great-aunt's house, who was kind of a hoarder, and I got to go one day. We found this bookshelf deep in the recesses of her basement that had a ton of really old classics on it. 4. SPRING! I think mother nature was holding a grudge. So many flowers here, everything looks so different when it's green!
You probably don't really remember me, but welcome back anyway! We missed you!

You have a boyfriend??? Well, you beat me out, I’m a grade older than you and I still don’t have one. Not that I’m planning to for... ever? Not really my cup of tea. Good for you though, its great that you’re going into the same high school! I just finished my last final earlier today and I still haven’t wrapped my head around the fact that I’m on break.
I just realized that I’m kind of late on this thread, but it's great to see you! I hope you keep painting/drawing, because you really are very good.
Anyways, I haven’t been around much either (also kind of disappeared off the face fo the CB) but I hope I see you around!

You're back! And I somehow missed this thread. :P
I've been reading! And procrastinating. Both, really, at the same time. I ordered a bunch of books online and I'm reading at least one every day I decide to, then reading webcomics to fill in the gaps. I'm in the middle of at least five archive binges right now.
I am also making plans, lots of plans. Very scattered, short-term plans for nothing in particular. Drawing. Writing. School. The usual.
How does one acquire a boyfriend, tell me your secrets! Not that I especially want one, just for future reference. If I find a suitable candidate or if I write a romance. Which I will, definitely, eventually, probably, maybe. :3
I think I am very tired and this is somehow translating into energy? Not sure how that works. I think I could keep going like this for hours, though, growing increasingly more tired and dozy in intervals, but awake and giggly until maybe 2 am. Or 3? I don't want to find out, anyway. Bye~
