CAN APPRECIATION THREAD
Do you like cans?
Would you call yourself a can fan?
Would you like to start a conversation but don't think it's important enough to have its own thread?
Then you've come to the right place.
Gab like mad!
(cans are pretty great though, tbh)

Cans. I guess they deserve more credit than we give them. There are so many, and they all serve incredibly important tasks, but yet, they are taken for granted. Well, no more! Cans!

Oh my gosh. Thank you so much, you just made my day. This is great.

Humanity has long pondered the question "What is the meaning of life?" Some say it is to help others, to be selfless and always assist those in need. Some say it is to help yourself, to indulge and pursue happiness however you can, to follow your dreams until you catch them and hold them close and never let go. Some find pleasure in success and hard work, to look at themselves in the mirror at the end of the day and say "I have accomplished something, I am proud of myself, I have found my meaning." Others believe the way to find meaning in life is to change the life of another - or, indeed, to change the whole world, one step at a time.
Yes, humanity has long wondered at this eternal question, but a single definitive answer has not yet been found. Perhaps there is no real answer, perhaps the question is rhetorical. Perhaps the search for meaning is futile and pointless - maybe, as the great Tally Hall once said, it is something we are never meant to know.
But my idea of the meaning of life? My answer to that one great, eternal question?
Cans.

*bursts out laughing, chokes on popcorn*
Sorry.
Ahem.
Cans is love. Cans is life. The end.

I think cans are kind of beautiful. I like to keep art supplies in them. Andy Warhol was a great can appreciator, too. He silkscreened a ton of Campbell's soup cans. Look it up if you don't already know about it.

Cans are truly a work of art. Their beauty is indescribable, and words cannot express just why.
Perhaps, it could be something about the way they sit stock-still, as if they are pondering life. It could be the hope of a can when it is sitting on a shelf in a store, or in your cupboard, it seems as if it is waiting for something, to be brought down from the shelf at long last.
But what I find truly beautiful about cans,
Is what's inside.
Hopefully tomato soup.

I love cans so much.
I especially love drinking soda or lemonade or sparkling water out of cans.
I love crushing the aluminum so that they can go in the recycling.
I love turning tin cans into droids.
I just love cans in general.
Tina says, 'vpin'
So a v-shaped pin.
Cool.
