Happy Easter/April Fool's day!!!
How crazy is it that they're both on the same day this year?!? Anybody doing pranks on their family or friends this morning? Who here celebrates Easter? What are some traditions you may have?
I made a pan of "brownies" (The letter E cut out of brown paper ; ) and put them on the counter. My Mom found them and burst out laughing. XD Stage one of Operation Fool the Parents is complete. Little does she know that I spiked her coffee.....*evil laugh*

Well, for Easter, the easter bunny comes overnight and hides a basket for all my siblings in the house. Usually they're hidden everywhere, but this year they were just plonked in the middle of the floor covered with toilet paper. My little brother got a kick out of that. I mentioned to my mom that this idea was "easier for everybody involved". She got a kick out of that.
As for April Fool's day...
Yeah, I'm not really a fan of April Fool's day. No one's ever done anything that traumatized me or anything, but I just find the whole thing an ordeal.
Last year I was at my grandma's house with all my cousins (and, by extention, my uncle) for April Fool's day and... My uncle has a sense of humor which I do not identify with.
So, I invented this:
How to survive April Fool's day
Step one: ALWAYS look ahead of you. Push open doors before you walk through them, check seats before you sit down, and stay one swing ahead of the sword.
Step two: Smell ABSOLUTLY EVERYTHING before you taste it. Don't accept anyone's gum.
Step three: Be prepared for jumpscares when you open things.
Step four: If a remote or something doesn't seem to work, there's probably tape on it. Keep this in mind.
Step five: Consider the following ideas:
- Make a pan of brownies and write 'What did you expect?' on it with frosting.
- Offer people perfectly normal gum.
- Ask someone a normal question, like "What's your favorite color?" or "Do you have a brother? or "What's five plus two?". When they answer, say "April Fool's" and walk away seriously.
- Carry around a pair of scissors and tell everyone, "My scissors! No touchy!". Hopefully they'll avoid you for the rest of the day.
- Put an can of olives somewhere when no one's looking. Hahaha!! Aren't cans hilarious?
Come to think of it, most people probably don't identify with my sense of humor.
Oh, and when I woke up this morning, it was snowing. So in conclusion, Happy Easter! (And don't freeze your face off.)

Cans ARE hilarious, infact I think we need a can appreciation thread.

What a splendid idea!!

My friend D actually says “no touchy” when you go near her stuff XD
And my friends R and A keep sharp scissors in their desks, and my friend C carries around a safety pin and pokes people with it.
Maybe I need to reconsider my choices of friends.

Happy late BirthdayEasterFool's Day! Today was also my cousin's VERY LATE birthday (It's in early March) and we just decided to celebrate the rest of the holidays too. So that's what we called it.
HAPPY EASTERFOOL'S DAY!!!

The Easter Bunny always hides baskets for my siblings and I, but for April Fools, he switched the baskets, so all the things that were supposed to be in my basket were in my brother's basket, and I had all the things that were supposed to be in my sister's basket. It was definitely interesting!

Bahahahahahahahahahaha. That made me laugh so hard Alizarine!! Thank you for that.
We usually go to church for Easter, help out with the annual dinner, then come home, take a nap, make something tasty for dinner, and open packages from Grandma. Busy day. As for April Fools Day, I think Easter took all thoughts away from it this year, but it's usually just put tape on the faucett and food color the milk. We're not super serious about it or anything, but it's not dead in the family, just not a lot we can do without getting in trouble. My sister made brown E's one year. I sound really bored. I'm just tired. Eh.

This year Easter was dying eggs and spending time together. Also cleaning...because...that is what my family does with their free time... xD
April Fools wasn't much this year. In fact I did nothing. Last year I posted a thread on here all about how I got my Hogwarts letter, but this year I did nothing. I did get pranked by a friend though (she told me her cousin got hurt, when he didn't), but nothing much. Some years I do more than others, but usually I don't do a ton because my parents got married on April first so it is there anniversary, so usually my sister and I would do something funny or something, but nothing mean.

Although I’m not Christian, I do celebrate Easter. I was going to freeze the milk (so it wouldn’t come out of the jug) but I was found out... I also dyed the oatmeal blue. My Nana (grandpa) was cooking it, and they were really startled when they found it- they thought they had done something wrong XD
For Easter it was normal- we went to a relative’s friend’s house and there was a lot of extended family there, most of whom I didn’t know. I played with their two dogs, and then everyone went egg hunting in their huge backyard. It’s more like present hunting, actually- there’s bags specified to a specific person, and they have gifts as well as candy. I found a graphic novel and a really pretty scarf, as well as assorted trinkets (a reading light, a stuffed bunny) and of course candy. Surprisingly, there weren’t any prank things at Easter (my grandma said she forgot...)
Also, I finally listened to the Hamilton soundtrack and now it’s stuck in my head.

I am completely baffled.
Is that a pair of pants without legs in them?
(April 3, 2018 - 6:52 am)
Umm... I believe that's her scarf. xD

Oohhhh...
Yeah, that makes sense. XD

Well, on easter I told my younger brothers to look for the eggs around the house that our parents (didn't) hide.
after that, they got sad because they couldn't find them. so I said "I know what would make you feel better." and handed them those litte chocolate eggs. ten each. they were so happy to open to eat them, only to find out that they were grapes (thanks to me)
I'M A GOOD BIG BROTHER
