In a moment of insecurity, I'm asking that question that many other people (i.e. two or three) have asked before, which is: does anyone on here actually care about me, think of me as a friend, or really feel like they understand me?

Leafpool, I care about you so much. I actually think of you as one of my closest friends here, and I really got to know you through the amazing Evernaught City RP! I know you are a seriously good writer, you're really nice, and very smart. You're also one of the best peacekeepers in this place- if not the best. You feel deeply about people and care so much- you're one of the most empathic people I've ever met. I love you so much and this community wouldn't be anywhere near as great a place without you. You are so loving, and the only reason people don't tell you that more often is because we depend on you. We always expect you to be there for us. You're one of our strongest pillars and it's our mistake if we don't recognize that. I love you so much, Leafpool- never doubt that.

For my part, you've really encouraged me without even knowing it, Leafy! That thread you made about Funny Things your Friends Have Said really boosted my spirits. You are such a valuable part of the CB and you're a great person and there won't ever be another Leafpool. Like Rae said, you're my friend and everyone else's! If no one cared about you, then would they be your friends? No! We love you and you're awesome, Leafy.

I'm afraid that I don't know you well, but of course I care about you! I care about everyone on the CB and I want to know them all better. I do know that you are a wonderful, kind, person who always has something encouraging to say. Do I understand you? I don't know how to answer that. I'm sorry. But of course I care about you. You're inspiring, kind, happy and wonderful. <3

I know the feeling.
Both on and offline, it's easy to trick yourself into believing that your friends are figments, that no one wants you there, that every smile and kind word is a lie. The truth is, that's not accurate. We care about you so much, and you have so much to offer our community. You're funny and smart and creative and a great writer. Don't ever doubt that.
Stand up and tell the voice in your head, "No. I'm worth it. Stop lying to me." If that seems scary, if you don't think you'll be loud enough, remember that we here will be standing and yelling alongside you. Best of luck. <3

YES! you were one of the first people i met on the CB, you are AWESOME, and when i rejoined the CB you were the first person i looked for to see if you were still on!

OF COURSE, LEAFY! You are definitely my friend. You've always been on the CB, and I could never, ever forget you. While we may not always agree on all points, I do understand you, as much as someone can on a computer screen. I will miss you if you decide to leave. Hugs!
