Chatterbox: Down to Earth

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY!

That's right, CBers, today is International Women's Day! I just wanted to take this opportunity to say to all the girls on here: You are brave. You are bold. You are who you're meant to be. You are wonderful and kind, and so much stronger than you think. You can do anything you want, because you're you. There's nothing the world needs more than you. You can make such a difference, in someone else's life, in your school, even in the world, just by being yourself. By being caring. By being marvelous. By not being afraid to be yourself.

So take a moment here and think to yourself: I am bold. I am brave. I am me, and I am proud of that. Think also of all the brave women you know, whether they are your friend, a teacher, a parent, or someone you look up to. Take today to tell them how you feel. Tell them how strong they are, how wonderful, how courageous and valiant and caring they are. Appreciate the strong women you know! And that includes yourself.

Take this day, and be grateful: that you're you. That you're a girl. That you are who you are.
