I first heard of the chatterbox during the peak of the kyngdom age and completely forgot about it. A year or so later, I was reading through old magizines when I saw the BIG entry letter and I thought "Hmm, this does look interesting. Maybe I'll check it out again."

I came back to find that the "story so far" was ridiculously long, everything was fairly outdated, and no one had posted in weeks. I was really dissapointed and left. (I didn't know about the rest of the chatterbox.)

Fast forward to last month, when I discovered the majority of the CB. Excitedly, I checked the kyngdom again... and it looks pretty much the same.

Is anything still happening, and where's the best place to start?

back to the Down to Earth

Kyngdom is still up and active. The reason most things look the same is because most of the recent happenings are on the RP Board (which, I would like to take the opportunity to remind everyone, often has active threads on the second page, check the second page, it's not taboo). I'm working on the Story So Far thread, but I've had my hands full for quite a while now. I will try to get back to it soon. In the meantime, if you have any questions about recent events, just ask. I tend to respond to everything that might concern me in the slightest there.

I usually recommend the aforementioned Story So Far thread, because it covers a fair amount of Kyngdom's history, which is useful for those who don't know how the story has shifted. It's true, it's not recent, but I promise you I won't give up on it. Anyway. The events it summarizes are good to know, and will give you an idea of how things got to where they are.

Another good place to look is The Who's here thread, and no, you don't have to read through the whole thing. Just the last several pages will do. It's a nice place to see who the newest characters are and how to construct one.

After you take your cursory glance at those threads, come check out the RP Board and start writing! Make a character, join an RP or start your own, read up on whatever you want. It's not as active as the CB, having fewer people on it, but it's still quite alive.

I agree with Viola? and A CBette. We are still posting and developing the story. True, posting has slowed down a bit, and true, not as many people were on there as before. But we are still RPing and being active. Just on the RP board.
