Hi guys! Didn't mean to scare you or anything but just wanted to remind everyone that as of today we have exactly one year till the Great CB Rendezvous of 2019!
History: Back in around 2015, lots of things were going on in the CB world. Several of us oldies were leaving or watching our friends leave, so we stood up on a soapbox and declared that on Valentine's Day 2019, all past and present CBers would return to chat and catch up with each other.
Since then, we've been reminding ourselves of the event every now and then, but I don't see anyone who's done it yet so here I am! :)

I've always wondered the history behind that! I wasn't around when the official proclamation was made, but I believe my sister, Poetic Panda, was. Also, hey, Cayke! Nice to see you again. I don't believe we've ever spoken, but I remember you. :)

I'm excited to see everyone, but...
Am I the only person who's anxious about this? I mean, a lot of people's lives have moved on. I'm worried that most of the amazing people who left just won't come back for the visit. What if they forgot? It's been years for most of these people, and not everyone has a 2019 calendar...

I've missed you all! It's nice to see you again too. :)) Also, @Anxious, I know that feeling! But I'm in contact with several oldies that rarely frequent the CB nowadays, and I know for sure they'll show up. And lots of people put phone calendar reminders! So don't worry, it's going to be fine and people will show up. :) <3

Hello! I don't believe we've met. I'm Viola?, eccentric artist, Sticky Note Queen and fangirl of many webcomics. I was just thinking about Valentine's next year, actually. It's going to be... something. Probably like nothing ever seen before.
I'm doing well. Today is my last day of school before winter break! *throws confetti* Eleven straight days with no school. Bliss.

I think hotairballon once brought up the fact that it will be kind of hard to have it just be one day, because the Admins need time to approve comments and there's not much you can do in a day? Maybe a week? Or 2 days?
We'll be doing our best to keep up, but yes, you might have better threads if you let the festivities go a few days.

I agree! Thing is, it's probably quite likely that it'll go on for two or three days after Valentine's Day, because as you said during one day you can't talk all that much. We'll just use Feb. 14th as the kickstarter date and then we can party the rest of the week. :)

Yes, I think the general idea is that everyone will come back on VDay and stay for a little while.
Also, Cayke! Lucky you! You're in contact w/ some older CBers...wow...that's nice.

Haha yeah :) It's pretty cool since we've gotten to see how we've all developed over the years since we met on the CB.
