When our Cricket
Chatterbox: Down to Earth
When our Cricket
When our Cricket magazines came today, we got Muse and Ask but not Cricket. It may have just gotten backed up in the mail, but my mom said she'd check to see if we needed to renew my subscription. But she also asked whether I wasn't getting to old for Cricket, and for some reason it really upset me. I've had a bad morning and I kind of just got really mad and/or emotional and/or almost brought to tears when she asked about Cricket. I guess I'm overreacting, and there really is no need to post this on the CB but I needed to type it out.
We're sorry that you're having a bad morning, Leafpool! It happens. We hope you continue reading Cricket for as long as you please. To check up on your subscription, your mom can visit shop.cricketmedia.com/myaccount...but be patient, magazines are still shipping out!

Oh Leafpool. *Hugs* I don't know what exactly to say, except that we're here for you, and that I hope your future days get better. *Hugs again*

You might tell your mom that Cricket has many adult subscribers. A good story speaks to all ages.

It's okay. There's no reason to stop something you love simply because time has passed. You may face this again, but don't lose heart. If someday in the future you find yourself no longer passionate, it's okay to let go, but first be sure that's really what you want. Right now, let yourself enjoy the things that make you happy.
I think your reaction is normal; I know I've felt the same over less. I don't want to tell you how to feel. You might be over it by now. You might still be drowning in its depths. Take a while to think about it, and draw your own conclusion. You're the one in control.
