Gamers Unite!

So, gamers of the CB, I have made a thread to discuss all things video games. I personally am a pretty big gamer myself, and I have a lot of fun doing it. I’m going to ask a couple questions to get this started.

1: What console do you use? Or are you a PC person?

2: What are some of your favorite games?

And 3: Online vs. Singleplayer?

This is a bit of a short  intro, but I can’t really think of much else to say. *SUBMIT*

yesyesYESYESYES

Okay, I am a video gamer but I'm wondering, can I talk about board games too since I'm pretty into those as well?

Either way, I have an Xbox, switch, but I mainly play PC. I'm a huge Nintendo fan and just love couch gaming so much! I know Mario Kart is such a newbie game, but I'm a huge fan of it! Oh, and I love Zelda and Pokemon as well, especially the music! Gosh, Nintendo music is so beautiful sometimes. Favorite Pokemon Game is Emerald, but I'm a fan of the mystery dungeon games. Favorite Zelda game is probably the latest one. I'm a bit of a Megaman fan as well, though mainly because of the music. Oh, and I can't forget Animal Crossing! What a wonderful game, and the music is chirpy and great!

I love Assassin's Creed, though unlike for Nintendo games, I usually don't pay that much attention to the story. Overcooked is fun(And a game that I'm actually good at), and Cuphead has an amazing soundtrack- Though I'm miserable at it.

I'm pretty cheap when it comes to the pc, so I play free to play games. My main one right now is Paladins, which is a lot like Overwatch (Which I don't like in the slightest but that's another topic). I usually main tanks or healers, or anything but damages because no one ever plays a friggin tank like jeez guys its not that hard and its fun!

I love the Portal Games, and Relic Hunters Zero. Like I said before, I'm a huge fan of couch games so the fact that Portal 2 and RHZ has two players is cool! Wheatley is a pretty cool character, and the voice acting is nice!

Binding of Isaac is hard but fun, and Hyper Light Drifter is BEAUTIFUL. It has an amazing soundtrack, the pixel graphics and animations are smooth, and you can DASH! I love dashing in video games.

For Board Games, I'm not talking about monopoly or other party games. I play DND, Eldritch Horror, Arkham Horror, Ghost Stories, Arcadia's Quest, Clank!, Clue, the like. My favorite games at the moment are Clank (Which is a surprise since I'm not a big fan of deckbuilders), and Arkham Horror (Which I haven't played in a while).

Woo! That was a lot, but I'm such an enthusiast!

Ooohmigosh, I love Cuphead! I've only played a tiny bit of Assassi's Creed, but it's pretty cool So far! I use XBox and PC as well. Oh, have any of you guys played Night in The Woods? The artwork is amazing, and the story is intriguing when you uncover more about the plot.

I'm not the biggest gamer out there, but if I got my hands on something, I would definitely play something on it.

1. Well, I don't have a console, save for my 4-year-old nintendo 3DS, so normally I play whatever I can on my chrome book.  I do have a PC, but it's 10 years old and nothing works on it.  Another ting about my 3DS, it's been in a box for 3 years because we moved and I can't find it.

2. I play a lot of the ".io" games, just because it's what I can get on a chrome book, but my friend has  PS4 and we love playing Star Wars Battlefront on it.  I'm also a total nerd for pokemon.

3. Ooh, this is a hard one.  I like playing games by myself, but a lot of the games I play are multiplayer, and I like having teams.  I'd say multiplayer, but I'm a big singleplayer person too.

This... this is beautiful. (sheds tear)

I have an Xbox 360, a Wiii U, a 2ds, a ds, a kindle fire, and this PC.

My favorite game is Torchlight, just barely passing my love for Pokemon Black. If you didn't know, Torchlight is a steam-downloadable game were you hack and slash your way through levels of the ember mines. It's a lot like Diablo, and the only negative thing about the game is that there are no online modes. So that makes my favorite online game...

Sadly, Minecraft. I don't really play that many online games, but Minecraft is actually fun, especially to play with my friends on discord.

Some other games I love are Pokemon, Super Smash Bros, and Town of Salem.

I think that both have their flaws and strengths, so I prefer for games to have both.

Aha! Video games! Board games! Delightful.

1) We have two Xbox 360s, (one of them is slightly broken, hence the second one) one Xbox 1, (haha) an assortment of Nintendo...things, and plenty of computers.

2) Hm. I love Elder Scrolls games, especially Skyrim and Oblivion (the updated Skyrim version looks cool but I think it's high time they made a new game, and my dad agrees with me) ; (I'm currently playing Skyrim) ; Assassin's Creed although it's mostly just my dad who plays it--we have all the existing games (my dad actually just finished the main questline in Origins); Ori and the Blind Forest (this was the first video game that I ever actually played through to the end, and it inspired me to play more) ; Minecraft, especially minigames--I personally like the Hive, it's the one that makes the most sense to me (a.k.a. is the least confusing) and, (to my great rejoicing) Ashlee friended me on there a couple weeks ago. We never seem to be on at the same times but I'm still hopeful we'll run into each other...FYI, my Minecraft name is not Leafpool, it's 2yuyu. --And there are plenty of other games I like but haven't played; (both my dad and my older brother are big gamers, and it's only because I have very limited video game time that I am not) games like Mirror's Edge, Halo Reach, Dishonored. Etc.

3) Well, I've recently made my own Xbox account but I don't have Xbox Live, so I can't play Xbox multiplayer. But I like PC Minecraft multiplayer.

1. I use a Wii. I know. Ancient.

2. Chromebook wise, i'd say Shell shockers. Board games? Ticket To Ride.

3. Online, but I like singleplayer as well.

Hey, ticket to ride was one of my first board games! It's pretty fun, but I don't play it anymore since it gets repetitive.

Ticket to Ride is really fun! If it feels repetitive, I recommend a game called Dominion that's really fun.

1: Mostly I play PS4 and Switch, but I play Slime Rancher, Portal, Goat Simulator and Battleblock Theatre on Steam using an old mac with terrible framerate.

2: Lately I found these two games called Psychonauts and Enter the Gungeon. They're both super fun. Psychonauts is about a boot camp where they train psychic warriors, and there's this secret mystery and I have laughed out loud multiple times at it! Enter the Gungeon is a breakneck paced, bullet heck, top down shooter. It uses procedurally generated dungeons, so every playthrough is different. It's really hard at first, but practice makes perfect. I also like Minecraft, Zelda, Mario, Overwatch, Destiny, Portal (One of my top 5), Mirror's Edge, Uncharted, Final Fantasy, Battleblock Theater is really fun if you've played it, Smash bros, mario, a small, unknown game called DeBlob, Slime Rancher, Horizon Zero Dawn, and more. I like indie games, Fast paced games, a couple casual ones, puzzle games- actually it would be way quicker to say what I don't like. I don't like Turn-based games that much or sports games (other than Disc Jam, which is super fun).

3: I enjoy playing with other people locally, especially my brothers, but Online games are really fun too. If I really had to pick one, it would be Singleplayer games with a local mode like ARMS or Battleblock or Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime.

P.P.S: I used to be an adventurer like you, but then I took an arrow to the NI!

We have dominion as well! However, like I said before I'm not the biggest fan of deckbuilding games-- It feels incredibly luck based after a while. However, my dad is a huge fan of the game so its just up to opinion I guess.

I understand the old mac problem. I play most of my games either on my mac or my laptop(Which isn't a very good one). Mac's are fine when it comes to drawing, but since I do more than that it's been getting irritating.

I don't play Battleblock Theater, but the narrator is pretty funny so I might look into it!

Uncharted is cool, except I can't play it since its PlayStation exclusive ;-;. Horizon Zero Dawn is another game that looks awesome, but again, the same problem. Slime ranchers cool, but I haven't gotten to playing it yet.

Aheheheh. Arrow to the knee. All the guards in Skyrim always say that--it's really old, but I still find it hilarious every single time.

Has anyone ever played on an Atari? It's an old-fashioned video game system from when my parents were kids. Last year we were at my grandma's house and my mom showed us the Atari machine and all the games that were in my grandma's basement. We took them home with us and we use it sometimes. Space invaders, Pitfall, Airsea Battle and Outlaw are all really fun, and there are lots of other good games.

1: What console do you use? Or are you a PC person? i wish i had a console so i could play the Pokemon vid games, but alas, i have but a computer.

2: What are some of your favorite games? Minecraft, Civilization, Baldur's Gate (that one's a D&D game) and i'm going to play Morrowind when i'm done with Baldur's Gate.

And 3: Online vs. Singleplayer? meh, can't choose, though i don't play much multiplayer.

Oh, I completely forgot! We have a partially-hacked-and-rebuilt arcade machine in our garage. It worked a long time ago, and then it broke...and then my dad fixed it again. He made a new buttonpad for it and put in new joysticks, and fixed the audio. We have hundreds of games on there, including PacMan. We usually only use it in the summer, though, because it's too cold otherwise.
