Hi! I'm new

Hi! I'm new here. I just realized that Cricket had a website (after puzzling over the "letters" at the begginning of the mag for a long time). Does anyone have any advice? What is an AE? I tried to join the Kyngdom, but when I tried to click the "Story so Far" button on the Q+A thing-a-ma-bob, it just popped up with a "page not found massage. Is the story over? Did it get a happy ending? I hope so. If any "vets" would be willing to help me, it would be much appreciated.

Hello, and welcome to the Chatterbox! In answer to your questions--you know what? I think I'll make this a list.

1. Yes, I have some advice. That advice is to do what makes you comfortable here, gathering information or jumping right in as you please. Figure out what you want to do, and do it! Most importantly, have fun.

2. An AE is an Alter Ego, people or characters or splinters of your being or something that some Chatterboxers create and develop to show different sides of themselves. AEs speak in augmented text, usually bold, italics, or bold italics. I have two AEs, simply because I often think in dialogue, as though I were more than one person, and this is a convenient way to express that. Having an AE is in no way required. 

3. The story of Kyngdom is not yet over, no. It's likely that your computer was simply experiencing an error of some sort. Maybe try again, see if it works the second time. But be warned, the Story So Far? thread is not up to date. There is another, more recent story summary thread in the Power of Claw section, which you can get to by clicking on the Power of Claw symbol at the top of the home page. I'm not really sure if I qualify as a 'vet', but I've been around Kyngdom for a while now. If you have any further questions, I can do my best to help.

Hi there! Welcome to the Chatterbox, New B! I'm Micearenice, lover of animals, undertaker of long and complicated writing projects, and person who likes to film movies! I'm guessing from your location that you're a Wings of Fire fan. I love that series too! (My favorite character is Queen Scarlet.)

My advice for you is to not be daunted by all the threads and unfamiliar terms. The forums might seem confusing at first but I promise, you'll get used to everything with time!

As Viola? said, Kyngdom is not finished yet! The reason you experienced the error is because some of the links embedded in older posts/threads of Kyngdom have stopped working. I'm not sure why this is, but I have the same problems with them. There's another summary for Kyngdom on Chirp at Cricket, in the thread 'Should i rejoin...' by Catsclaw. Hopefully, between that and the Story so Far summary, you can get a good feel for what's been happening.

I spelled it right this time! Thank you for the info! My favorite character is Queen Glory. I hope I can figure this out soon. So is an AE like an OC? For a second I thought that your name was mercinary (idk how to spell that).
