Chatterbox: Down to Earth

My caught got

My caught got a bunny yesterday. I saved it and brought it inside because it's too weak to do anything.

Pictures:

The pictures didn't come through.

Aww :( Poor bunny *sniff, sniff* Our pets

catch animals sometimes... Mostly chipmunks

and birds, but sometimes bunnies, too.

Unfortunately, we can't save most of them in

time :\ I'm glad you saved the bunny, though.

I hope it's better, now XD

This is random, but a couple of weeks ago my mom was sitting outside in the evening and our neighbor's cat walks over. (He frequents our house, especially in the early morning/late evening) The cat has this big moth in its mouth. It's going bzzzzzzzzzzzz and flapping away. The cat walks up to my mom and sets the moth down at her feet, like "Oh, what a good boy I am! I brought you a big bug! Look at me!" Of course, as soon as he sets the moth down, away it flies, and the cat is left there with this puzzled look on his face. :D

Haha, yeah our neighbors cats are ALWAYS in my yard because my mom loves to plant, so it's like a jungle over here!

Well, the cat likes it here cause his yard has two dogs and another cat in it, while ours doesn't have any pets. He's weird, though.

Oh... I'm sorry!

My mom once found a baby bird, and we took it to bird rescue, only they said they'd have to feed it to an owl, because it was a certain kind of bird that's over breeding, and that the mother's push other birds out of they're nests so they can take over. Anyway, the woman said that we could take it home if we didn't want them to use it as food, so we bought a cage, and they gave us baby bird food and a little syringe, and it would sit on our fingers while we fed it. It was the sweetest thing!!! But then a couple of days later we woke up to find it lying on the floor of it's cage. It was so sad. I think I cried pretty much all day. Ack!! Morbid thread!!! I'm getting all sad!!! I'm out of here!!!

I was at school one day, doing an outdoor science activity, when suddenly a bird fell out of nowhere and hit the ground. I don't know whether it was a baby that fell out of the nest, or an adult that was flying  was hit by a flying lid (long story, and I'd end up having to explain the whole lesson). I knew it couldn't survive on its own, but it was the middle of a schoolday and I couldn't exactly go take it home right then. I got permission from my teacher to go outside and check on it every few minutes, and I was going to take it home and try to take care of it (if my mom wouldn't let me, I'd take it to a wildlife rescue place), but it was barely alive, and since my teacher wouldn't let me feed it (again, don't ask), it died before lunch! I was so sad!

And another timeat school, there was a dragognfly with a broken wing. Dragonflies are not able to walk, period, so if their wings break, they can't move at all! My teacher didn't care so much about that one, so I couldn't go check on it until the end of the day and by then... You really don't want to kn ow what had happened to it.
