My new AE Sea Glass recently decided to start popping up, so I thought I had better make this thread. I haven't figured out if SG has a gender, so I'm leaving that open for now and using the pronoun "them".

Name: Sea Glass
Age: Undetermined; maybe 15-17?
Appearance: Average height, wispy hair the color of sand falling loose and wavy around their shoulders. Eyes a mottled blue green of varying shades depending on circumstance, but usually like a calm sea with sunlight shining through. Wears board shorts and short-sleeved shirts, usually in pale pastels, and always (always, even when sleeping) a few bracelets and a necklace. Usually goes barefoot.
Personality: Surprisingly calm and mature for a teenager. Quiet-ish, sad, serious and sweet. Speaks in a poetic, somewhat Victorian manner, and somehow manages to also be open, direct and blunt. Likes to help and mediate, yet can be strangely oblivious. Slow to anger, but will hold a grudge for years. Has reclusive 'blue' periods in which the niceness temporarily weakens or dissolves.
Strengths: Physical endurance, a good listener, incredibly nice, grounded, knows a lot about the beach and the sea
Weaknesses: Occasionally insensitive, not much of one for conversation, can be indecisive, sometimes too nice, may close off and drift away without social stimuli. Moody and sometimes selfish, reacts poorly when frustrated
Interests: Reading, art, sitting/walking/anything by the sea, instrumental music
Other: Sometimes worries about being bland, boring, going nowhere. Not very interested in shipping, but won't deny a suitor if anyone develops a crush.
