Basically, this is a ski lodge. except without the murders but with a gladiator arena.
instead of figuring out who did it, you try to escape (well, unless you're a villain.).

Regular helmet.

Melee weapon: I don't know medieval weapons and I'm not a fan of weapons anyway. Advice on what to pick?

Melee i suggest... any kind of sword...Ranged...Any kind of bow. and as for armor something light and flexible would be leather armor.

Appearance: Actual appearance? Shoulder-length blonde hair, green eyes, somewhat pale. Wears a lot of teal shades.
Melee weapon of choice (must be medieval.): Spear/trident. A perfect balance between handling, engagement, and weight! The handle is mahogany over iron (impossible to simply break with a sword) and the tip is iron with three prongs. Excellent for grappling swords!
Ranged weapon o' choice (must be medieval.): Jokes' on you, muskets are medieval! I have a musket or flintlock pistol.
Favorite type of armor (must be medieval. and yes, it will help you survive. ): Leather with chainmail and a simple helmet. Fairly light to allow for greater movement.

appearance: For real, wavy dirty blond hair about 4 inches or so past my shoulders, greenish blue eyes with a ring of a greenish goldish color I don't quite know how to describe around my pupils, dark jeans and a thin black hooded shirt thing ( one of my dream outfits )
melee weapon of choice: Light, easy to handle mithril sword with an iron handle with rough leather straps over it for a grip
ranged weapon of choice: recurve bow and arrows
favorite type of armor: very light but strong mithril chain mail under my hooded shirt thing that no one can see, a light helmet that doesn't look too weird if I have to have one
P.S. If you have to have me die in the story, then please make it heroic but not cheesy.

Age: Time Lord, so...fairly old but youthful looking
Appearance: Loosely curly black hair, a bit longer than shoulder length. Brown almond shaped eyes that are slightly rounded and a smaller mouth and nose. Slim but athletic, pretty average height, and fair skin with a few freckles on face.
Weapon of choice: Katana
Range Weapon: Throwing knives
Armour: Japanese dragon skin, durable against any weapon but extremely light and flexible. Comes in a grey blue colour and black.

Appearance:,Tall, skinny, with long hair and fingers and nails and limbs.
Melee weapon of choice: Damascus steel sword
Ranged weapon of choice: Bow and arrows
Favorite armor: Long-sleeved chain mail tunic over a light leather one if I won't be worrying about stealth, with matching gloves (leather palmed) and headpiece (lined). If I will be worrying about stealth, hardened leather breastplate and arm/leg flap things with more flexible material at joints, partially hardened leather elbow gloves, and hardened leather helmet, all with damascus steel/dragon scale sections where practical and tailored to allow freedom of movement. Damascus-steel-toed thigh boots to the effect of the latter category either way.

Gunpowder in bombs was actually used in the late medieval period (if you define that as being from the 5th century to the 15th) in China, starting around the 13th century. They're your rules, though.

I think historical gladiators were allowed to use weapons and armor, and while I'm not sure they existed in the Middle Ages, it probably doesn't matter, this being Catsclaw's idea and therefore existing however Catsclaw wants it to.
