Hi everyone! I made this thread for people to talk about their Halloween costumes! My best friend and I are going as medieval adventurers and so far the costumes look amazing! So what about you guys?

Our comunity is too small and spread out to go trick-or-treating, so we have Halloween Canival were there are all these games and prizes you can win. We don't usually go, but this year we are going to try it. I'm going as Rey from Star Wars.

Dude Perfect's Panda. Walmart has mascot heads, so I'm going to get a panda head and make a DP t shirt, and wear jeans or something. Its kinda funny, because my friend is going to be a real panda except no mask.

Where I go for trick-or-treating every year, the street is big on Halloween. Sometimes they even go to the lengths of decorating the entire house to look like a haunted mansion. I am going as a cowgirl. Last year I was a dementor from Harry Potter.

Well, I was going to be Shadow(you know, the Kyngdom charrie), and her owner gave me permission and everything. But then my mom said that making a Shadow costume would be too hard, with only 9 days until my school's Halloween parade and 4 more after that until the actual holiday. So I'm going to be Christine, from Phantom of the Opera. Now I just need my little sister to be the Phantom!

I'm going to be a witch! I have a black dress with white flowers on it, one because I want something I can wear again and 2 because I could not find just a plain black dress! I'm think about putting flowers on my witch hat to match. I also have black boots, and I'm going to paint a broomstick black.

I'm going as Jyn Erso from Rogue One and I've known since the middle of summer. I'm super excited because it's the most elaborate costume that I've ever done...and, it's versatile too because since it has so many layers (and a scarf and fingerless gloves) my mom won't be able to make me wear a sweatshirt!
It's a complicated costume but not actually too hard, because I'm just going to wear jeans and my brown fashion boots, and I can just wear a normal t-shirt. I have a pair of black gloves that I chopped the fingers off of, and my mom has an old tank top that I think she'll let me borrow (because Jyn has two shirts underneath her jacket) and we have some scarves and stuff...I'm excited for this Halloween! After this year or next year I'll technically be too old to trick-or-treat, but I'm so tiny that I think I can pass myself off as a middle schooler for at least two more years. And when that doesn't work anymore, I can take my little brothers out and still get candy.
The only thing I'm worried about for this Halloween is that I hope we don't go in too early. My family tends to not stay out too late on Halloween, because my little brothers get cold and tired and my mom gets cold and tired and my dad gets cold and doesn't feel like staying out longer with me....but there are so many houses I want to visit and I'm turning 12 two days after Halloween so I want to stay out longer.....I don't know. I guess I'll get candy, whatever happens.

What about a ghost? Like, an elaborate ghost. The thing about ghosts is that they're supposed to be such a stereotypical Halloween costume that no one ever goes as them. When I went as a ghost a couple years ago I got a lot of compliments and one person said that he hadn't seen a ghost all night.
Or maybe you could go as a Star Wars character, or a Harry Potter character, or someone from a TV show you like, or someone from a book, or you could go on one of the Poetry Threads and be inspired by the poetry to do something really creative or something that goes along with one of the poems, or you could go as someone's roleplay character in one of the hundreds of roleplays in the Inkwell, or....the possibilities are endless!
And this is something that I've been wanting to ask for a while but I haven't seen you around. I know it's out of the blue and I'm kind of just babbling but...*pauses* *takes a deep breath*
Do you think True will come back for a visit on Valentine's Day 2019? Even though she's in college?

Wow, I haven't posted on here in . . . about a year? Two? Hello peoples!
In answer to your question (I had to ask Butterfly about that it was because I remembered this as a "all CBers go to Chicago in Valentine's Day of 2019" instead of "come back to CB in 2019") - I will if I can remember! I'll be . . . 17 then , a senior in high school. Wow - is 2019 so soon? (I'm actually not in college yet - I'm a junior taking a few dual credit classes!)
But hello and goodbye! I might pop in once or twice soon, but life is so busy, I won't promise anything.
