Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Reintroduce Yours

Reintroduce Yourself

'Ello everyone, today I feel like reintroducing. Not just myself, but maybe we all write an "about me"! For one, many of you peeps don't know me too well, and I don't really know a ton about you. Same goes for a lot of the older ones here who aren't too active so reintroductions could be nice. Say whatever you want - why you have your name (although there is already a really epic thread for that), hobbies, whatever you want. Just enjoy and get to know all another once more! I'll start:

Hello, everyone! My name is Ashlee, and I am your fellow intense Whovian and Potterhead. I swear I will get you to love both if you don't already! I am also about to get into Sherlock, which I know for a fact I will love. I am a big gamer (COD, AC, and such) and even watched an entire world championship for a game I don't even own, just because I wanted to learn the maps. Cheers to OpTic gaming (they won the HWC) and Team Liquid! You guys are awesome. I live in a tiny town of 400, homeschooled, and have four younger siblings (a bro and 3 sisters). I am also a big computer nerd. History nerd. Everything nerd! Not to mention human/nature photographer, artist, writer, and avid reader. Believe it or not, I don't think I've ever read Cricket before, although I used to read Faces and Stone Soup (not by Cricket, but Faces is). Mmm... yep, and I am also happy to say I've been here since I was 9, back in 2010. Cheers! Nice to meet you all. Alsoooo, I am your fellow Monkwee and coder, which you shall learn about soon enough! *Cough cough*

Finally I got around to this.

My CB name is Leafpool. Sometimes people call me Leafy.

I'm nearly 12 and I've officially been on the CB for almost two years now. I don't really know when I started being really active on the CB was--I know when I was much younger I flitted around the CB a bit, but didn't really get into it. I've set the date of my CBerversary for December first.

I've been through a lot of wars on the CB, and seen some of my dearest friends leave. I get really nostalgic sometimes, or feel disconnected from the more recent generations of CBers. I guess I just have more meaningful relationships with CBers like Scylla, or Joan B. of Arc, or Brookeira, or Danie, or...well, I could go on for ages but I'm not going to. I'd say that I'm generally better at being around people older than I am.

I have 4 Æs and a CAPTCHA--Arwen was my first Æ, with Serene a close second. Jarnen came along later, and Rosalyn was just recently replaced by The Seventh Telekinetic Wanderer. And Hazel's been around just about as long as Arwen and Serene have. All my Æes are ageless (and vaguely teenaged), except Serene, who is 13 and and is turning 14 in...two days actually. Hm...if you're any CBers worth your writing, you should know about the Arweon (Arwen+Zeon) ship. No offence to those who don't know about it.

I'm obsessed with music, especially pop music. Almost every time I'm in my room, I'll have the radio one. Music is necessary for me to concentrate.

I like reading, writing, roleplaying, poetry, drawing, biking, hanging out with my friends, emailing, video games, (Especially Elder Scrolls games) organizing my room, going to the library, (it's two buildings and a street away and I can see the parking lot through my window) watching TV, singing, swimming, Ye Olde English, and a lot of other things. I have many fandoms, (Star Wars, Star Trek, the Hobbit, LotR, LoS, PJO, HP, etc.) and if you value your life you will not ask me what my favorite book is. I'm the resident Redwall superfan.

I get Cricket, as my sister and brother did before me. I've had a letter published in the Letterbox and, in fact, I'm going to be published again in October. Um, I'll just not explain that right now. And as of yet, I have not been published from the CB.

I think fall is my favorite season because...a) I live in Maine, and three words. New. England. Foliage. The trees are just amazing.  b) Halloween is in fall, my bday is two days after that, and Thanksgiving is also in fall! My older siblings come home and we always have tons of yummy food. c) the weather is awesome. End of story.

Let's see...sometimes I act very mature, and sometimes I throw that all to the wind and act...um, very not mature. I can be sweet or sarcastic, depending on the day, and I'm sometimes very nasty if I get mad about something. I know the Admins have had to edit my comments on multiple occasions. And IRL, I have much talent for sulking.

The very first roleplay that I made was one of the few that's been finished over the years. (Thanks to Chinchilla for that one--she stuck with it.)

I like shopping--the rest of my family has permanent aversions to it but I LOVE shopping! I also like coming up with fashionable outfits, and occasionally dyeing my hair. I've dyed all of my hair twice in the past.

I have a strong fear of all leggy things, especially spiders. I am terrified of spiders. And I have claustrophobia. Really bad claustrophobia.

Last but not least, I have a newfound talent on the CB. When I'm extremely super-duper happy, I burst into flames like a phoenix.

Aaaand I have to get off the computer now. *Waves, vanishes in a puff of smoke*

@Leafpool

I like Elder Scrolls games too. Do you have Skyrim?

Yaaaasssss I do have Skyrim! And Oblivion, and the extra pack for it that's the Shivering Isles, and I also have Morrowind although I only played it once because it's kinda old. I don't own Skyrim, Oblivion, and S.I.--they're my dad's. But I've watched my dad and brother play them since I was really little and when I was older I played them a bit. (Mostly just running around villages and buying stuff because I was too terrified to go on adventures.) And now I'm impatiently waiting for my dad to let me play Oblivion this fall! (He insists that I wait until October. :( --At least I have the rest of Star Trek: Voyager to finish!)

Oh, and I forgot! I'm obsessed with British accents, too. @General Waffleson, do you have a British accent???

Howdy! I'm Mirax T. I officially joined the Chatterbox early February 2016. I've not been on the CB much lately, but I pop by every once in a while. I use to have 3 AEs, and a Captcha. (Mrs Elton, Sprankje, Ruby, and Whistler.) They were retired after a bit of unpleasantness in the past. My name comes from a Star Wars: Legends character, Mirax Terrik.

I love reading, spending to much time on the internet, and writing terrible sci-fi/fantasy. I have way too many fandoms, including Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter (I'm a Gryffinpuff), The Princess Bride, Doctor Who, Sherlock, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, the MCU, the Arrowverse, the DCAU, Welcome to Nightvale, and probably a bunch more that I'm forgetting.

I'm homeschooled, and love it. (I also love to make jokes about it.) I'm in 8th grade, and do band and jazz band at the public middle school. I play trumpet for band/jazz band, and I've been taking piano for seven years. I love to sing in the homeschool choir, and in local community theatre musicals. (I was in the ensemble for the Wizard of Oz, and it was so much fun.) I'm currently putting off writing the first chapter in my swahbuckling satire/fantasy novel. I have four pets. A fluffy orange cat named George, a grey shorthaired cat named Captain Jack, a black and brown cat named Molly, and a black dog named Sirius.

Hi, I'm coyotedomino. You can call me coyotedomino. Or coyote. Anyway, don't capitalize it. Whatever. I really don't have much to say... Ah! I overuse ellipses (...). I like reading, no kidding. I like art. I like poetry. I program and I geocache. I am a nerd. I like thinking. I hate thinking. I hate liking thinking. I hate hating liking thinking, and wished I liked liking it. I try to resist the urge to be sarcastic all the time. I am random. The word crumpet is awesome. See you elsewhere!
