Busy Summer... Ugg.
It's hardly even summer yet, and already, it's practically all booked up!! I'm not used to this. We usually have nothing to do in the summer!!! (except our annual family camping trip) :)
But just a few things of the top of my messy brain:
My cousin is getting married in July (YAY!!!!)
I practically broke my toenail off yesterday and now it hurts to walk on it, so I have to walk with my toe in the air... :( *howls in pain* (I watched Howl last night for the bazillianth time... I LOVE THAT MOVIE!!!!!!)
I'm actually going to audition for something next week and NOTHING is going to get in my way. (EEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!)
Family camping trip. (YAY!!!!)
Fourth of July. (EE!!)
My singing recital. (we do that twice a year) (EE!!)
The fair. (I'm entering something {ee!!!!!!!!!})
Father's Day... (I don't even have a gift for him yet) :( :( :(
Grandma's B-day... (ditto) (oh wait, mom got her a gift card *whew*)
Daddy's B-day (Uh... I think I'll get him one of his fav movies...) (I'd get it for Father's Day, but it wouldn't get here in time)
Now, that may not sound like a lot you all of you, because you are all probably really busy all the time, but for me, this is the busiest summer I can remember!! (I'm sure I've had busier, but I don't remember them) :D :D :D hee hee
What are you all doing this summer??? :) I hope that if you don't like busy summers, yours aren't, and if you do, they are!! (hee hee)

Going to the beach tomorrow, orca camp in the San Juan islands in the beginning of July, swimming lessons until next Friday, the fair (Showmanship and confirmation with my 6-year-old drake named Bill (his birthday was yesterday!), and probably a visit to my grandpa's ranch.
P.S. Spellcheck doesn't think that orca is a word! (???)

Well, it depends, do you have a mac? If so, hit command/shift/semicolon, or go to Edit: Spelling and Grammar: Show Spelling and Grammar. :)
If you have a pc, I have no idea. :)

This summer I am...
1. celebrating my sister's fifteenth birthday
2. going to acting camp
3. lounging around, reading, writing, and doing homeschool
4. having my twelfth birthday

Let's see.
a) Earlier this summer we were in Southern California to visit my grandparents for a week.
b) My mom and brother are out of town until a week from tomorrow, and
c) next week I'm going to engineering camp at UNR because I won a scholership in MathCounts.
d) In July my uncle and aunt and their two little kids are coming for a week.
e) We're doing math over the summer, which is something that has to be done just about every day.
e1.5) That math is pre-calc, so a lot of it is new and pretty hard.
f) My mom and I are working really hard on putting together piano Christmas duets in the hopes that come December we can play at nursing homes.
g) I'm babysitting just about every other day this summer all day, in July and August two kids, but for now only one.
h) And we've got pool parties cause our house is bad for having a lot of people over but our backyard is great so we have a lot of pool parties in the summer.
i) We'll be going camping
j) and probably I'll have a birthday party near the end of summer so we can use our pool and because one of my mom's best friends is getting married on the Saturday nearest my birthday. :P
k) My dad's birthday is in August.
l) I want to have a yard sale right before school starts.
m) I've got homework over the summer from our literature class - book to read and oral report to prepare.
n) I recently joined Curves, sort of a women's gym but not quite. That's three times a week, half an hour each.
o) I have five pen pals to whom I'll be writing.
p) I'll be preparing to play in church for singing for the first time come September. (if there's not an emergency and I'm needed sooner)
q) I've got to call my teacher, but I think I'll be horseback riding this summer.
I could probably go through the whole alphabet, but I have to go take a shower. (before babysitting today (g) and practicing piano (f, p). No math cause my mom's gone. (b) Hehe.) And I really don't like busy summers. So this one kind of stinks. But because I'll be babysitting so much, it'll be the best money-making summer I've had so far. That helps. And yet somehow there are lazy days. They're just increasingly rare. :P

Oh and the state fair on mine. I'm hoping to enter something (or many somethings! *chortles maliciously*) That's letter r. That's a good eighteen things besides the day-to-day chores and stuff. Wow.

Hehe. It's really not that bad. A lot of it I decided to do - like babysitting - because I have a tendency to be really lazy and waste my summers doing nothing but reading and moping around. So while I don't like a busy summer, it's best for everyone involved and is of my own instigation.

My Summer is pretty busy. Monday-ballet Tuesday-band Wednesday-I have to mow,usually Thursday-Piano,PrePointe,Technique,and Tap and Jazz. I also have to do stretches with the dance team class. Friday-Every other friday I have sign language class. I'm even going to be busy on my vacation. *sighs*
